This beautiful French Enamelware salt box. circa 1930’s, is in great condition for its age. Measuring approximately 5 inches high (to top of wooden lid) & 9-1/2 inches high in the back, it has a wonderful pale blue speckled pattern. It has a couple of minor dings along the bottom ridge (see photos), but nothing at all to detract from the charm of this splendid piece.

Rare and magnificent Hector Aguilar 990 silver and obsidian bracelet. This same bracelet, but with malachite stones, is featured on page 24 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Morrill. They date is c. 1940. The round black cabachon stones appear at first glance to be onyx, however in certain light, the greenish, brownish irridescence of the stones can be seen ( see photo #5)and it is clear that they are indeed obsidian. Although not contemporary, this Netsuke dates from the mid 20th century. Due to certain features, we believe it was made in China prior to or during World War II, during Japans occupation (1932-1945). A beautiful mid-century modern bronze pendant with a center agate by Pentii Sarpaneva, Finland. We do not see many pieces of Finnish jewelry in the U.S. and this one is wonderful. The pendant, including the bail measures 4" long and 2" wide at the widest point. The bronze chain is original to the pendant and measures 24" end to end. This piece is in fine original condition and signed P. Sarpaneva Finland Bronze. A rare and beautiful pendant.

An exquisite sterling collar type necklace by Reveriano Castillo, c.1950. Castillo apprenticed with William Spratling and Hector Aguilar and opened his own shop in 1952. His talent is evident in this necklace. A strong design, this piece measures 15 1/4" end to end and is 1 7/8" wide. The push in clasp is tight. It is in fine original condition and signed for Reveriano Castillo. Looks smashing on the neck and makes a bold statement.

Large scroll or ribbon pin by William Spratling c. 1945. It is pictured on page 45 of Morrill and Berk's book MEXICAN SILVER. It is crafted of sections of silver with copper and gold. A bold size, measuring 3" by 2 1/4", it is in fine original condition, weighs 37 grams, and is appropriately signed for William Spratling as shown in the photo. A glorious pin.

A hand forged antique iron water pot with bronze lid for use in the Japanese Zen Tea Ceremony; handles in the shape of dragonflies embedded in the side.
