Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

An English figural centerpiece epergne with intertwined palm trees and antlered stag, unmarked but possibly by Elkington & Co. Circa 1865. There are three candelabra arms and a fourth central light that converts to hold a glass, trumpet shaped flower vase. Wonderful detailing and in very good overall condition, but with minor solder repairs to several of the fronds, some bent, and with a couple of frond tips missing...

A nice famille jaune bat motive tea cup. It has a Tonzhi seal mark both on the cover and the base of the cup and is of the period.

A minor manufacturing flaw on the cover (photo 2)and five hair lines as shown in the photos 4 and 5. two with stain and the other can be seen at certain angle only. Other than that, it is in fine condition, no chip or repair.

The height of the tea cup is 9cm and the diameter is 11.2cm

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.

Offered is a highly scarce Pair of 19th Century, Pill + Capsule Counters that would have been used in the early apothecary shop. They are constructed of wood and have been formed into a paddle shape. They are so unusual, that they rightfully belong in a museum dedicated to preserving the history and practice of the early drug store.

These wonderful tools of the trade measure 12 inches for the capsule counter and 11.75 inches for the pill counter...

A scarce set of five Irish sterling silver forks, by silversmith Peter Weeks, and each bearing hallmarks for Dublin in 1842-1843. Fashioned in the fiddle pattern, and each with a matching, engraved on the handle with a family crest of an arm dexter, bent and holding a dagger. Very good condition with some wear to the tines.
