Hagen-Renaker Owl with applied orange and black eyes, I believe this is model A065. Owl is wonderfully detailed with beak and "moustache". Painted tawny brown, with black stripes on the back, stipling on the back simulates feather texture. Owl measures 7 1/4 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. No cracks, chips or repairs. Does have some surface dirt, I did not wash him for fear of damaging his label. Marked only with black and gold foil label on back.

Description: A fine jade pendant was carved in a shape of a gourd enwind with vines, leaves, stalks and plums. By the excellent quality of a Hou-Tien jade which was in slight greenish tint and had a lovely transparent look, the pebble was maneuvered skillfully depicting the full gourd with twisted leaves, tendrils, blossoming flowers and the strong stems. A lot of flash! This brooch measures 4 1/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide. Large, prong-set square and rectangular red unfoiled stones, with clear round rhinestones single and pave set, in a rhodium plated setting. The pin is strong and locks securely. Pin marked with a single script 'E' (for Eisenberg?) on the back. All stones are clear but a couple of the larger stones do have scratches.

Decorated in underglaze cobalt-blue with a bird, within a pair of double lines in the central medallion, with a continuous floral scroll on the cavetto. On the exterior with Lotus panels. Stoneware body with a transparent glaze. The mouth rim and foot rim unglazed and the base painted with a chocolate-brown iron wash. 15th century. Condition:Excellent no damage or restoration.
