Description: An elegant porcelain water basin was in light celadon tint. In a rolled lip, shallow belly and flat but well shaped foot ring, the water basin had a beautiful image with strong scholar mood. Natural ice cracks were yielded under the glaze at the bottom of the basin when one minor glaze burst had happened in the cavetto due to firing. Brownish finish was preserved at the foot ring. Early William III Britannia standard silver trefid tablespoon, London, 1699, by silversmith Francis Archbold, length 7.25 inches. The shallow bowl gilded on the interior and with a double ribbed and beaded rat tail. The upturned handle's terminal is cut with two notches.
