A fantastic large tsubo vase by ceramic artist Teramoto Mamoru (1949-present) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. In spite of its size (almost 15 inches (37cm) tall), it is surprisingly light, and the colors are phenomenal. The slightly grooved surface is scored with primitive lines arching upward, filled with slip before firing. The artists signature is on the base of the piece, which is about 15 years old...

Magnificent Fred Davis silver and onyx bracelet. This is a larger scale than the silver and amethyst bracelet of this same design that I have listed. This bracelet measures 7 1/4" end to end and is 1" wide. It weighs 62 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Classic Fred Davis and beautiful in every way.

A group of three clambering turtles in fine detail dating from the opening of the 20th century (later Meiji) stamped on the base Keishin and enclosed in a period wooden box. The group is roughly 8 inches (20 cm) long, 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall and in fine condition but for one old chipped toe on the back foot of the largest turtle (see close-up).

One of the most beautiful early pieces by Matilde Poulat that I have yet found. This c.1950's sterling, turquoise and amethyst bracelet is exceptional in every way. All of the stones are intact and look to be original. The amethysts are vivid purple and all stones are free of damage. The bracelet measures 8" end to end and is 1 3/4" wide. It weighs 72 grams and the push in clasp snaps tightly shut. Signed and numbered for Matilde Poulat "MATL" as shown. This piece is a treasure.

A set of scholars desk items, including a Chinese Qing dynasty crystal brush rest in the form of two mountains, Chinese crystal stamp carved with four characters between dragons, and an unusual obelisk written with the Nichiren Buddhist epitaph Na-mu Myoho-ren-ge-kyo in radical script over textured surface, glass or crystal. We have been unable to find a single inclusion in the obelisk, making it either a perfect crystal, suiting a religious object, or glass...

This is a pair of Japanese Imari Porcelain double gourd Bottles, Meiji Period, painted with floral motifs in the typical Imari palette. Excellent condition. Measurements: 13 in H approx.

A rare Japanese oversized limited edition "sosaku hanga" woodblock print titled "Black Cat, Three Kittens & Butterfly" dated 1967 by Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000). The artist's black seal is at the lower left and his black ink signature is at the lower right. The print is titled and dated in kanji in the upper right margin. Numbered 14/200 in the lower right margin in pencil. The paper measures 16"V x 21 3/8"H (image size: 15"V x 19 1/2"H). Very good overall condition...

An exquisite large vessel by Seifu Yohei III (1851-1914) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The mirror smooth surface is lightly tinged pink, a delicate touch only Seifu could create. The Fretwork about the center is absolutely perfect. The vase stands just over 12 inches (31 cm) tall, 5-1/2 inches (13 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. Vintage sterling silver hinged pill box designed and signed circa 1920-30's by Mexico artist Frederick Davis.(1880-1961). Box measures 2 1/8"L. X 3/4"W. X 3/4"H. The box is designed with a tiny notch on the upper right corner for opening. Hallmarked on the bottom with the Davis cojoined FD 925. Beautiful condition. Davis designs are featured in the permanent 20th Century Mexican Silver collection at LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Rare sterling silver & pale rose quartz ring designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). The bezel set quartz stone face measures 1 inch long. Pair of Imari covered bowls. Condition for both is very good (one with minute enamel loss inside the bowl and one the other with an almost imperceptible minute craze inside the foot.) Part of a group just out of a diplomatic estate. With slight variation, the bowls are between approximately 4 1/4" (10.8cm) to 4 3/8" (11.1cm) diameter and 2 5/16" (5.9cm) height. Rare and unique sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Salvador Teran. His work is difficult to come by and very recognizable. The rectangular links of the bracelet have silver figures that sit in a back round of black oxidation. The links are hinged together and end in a plain silver panel link that houses a secure push in clasp with an intact safety chain. this bracelet measures 7" in the inside and is 1/2" wide...

Swirling eddies decorate the rim of this gorgeous vase of huge dark hollowed vine, golden minnows swimming up the sides of the natural current made by the winding wood. A very unusual piece which exemplifies the Japanese awe and care for nature. Minor burls and burs in the wood act like rocks under the swift moving water, the pattern rolling over them in a raucous rush...

Large early Matilde Poulat "MATL" cross c. 1945. It measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" wide and is in beautiful original condition with all stones intact. The amethysts are deep purple and the coral a vibrant red. Signed with her early signature and registration number. This is an exceptional cross.

Magnificent sterling and onyx necklace by Antonio Pineda. The jagged shaped links are strung on a double silver chain and they all move. There is an interesting pattern in the front section of the necklace where some links have a cut out section and the facing link has a diamond shaped inset onyx.This spectacular necklace measures approximately 15" around in the inside ( cannot be exact as it curves) and is 1" wide in the front and the links taper to 1/2" in the back...
