Rare Penti Sarpaneva 830 silver ring this is a stunning piece. Multi-layered and very impressive it is topped by a "lace" type flat-top pyramid and has excellent patina. The ring is currently a sz 6.5 but it's adjustable due to its open shank. Its face measures 1 3/8" square and it will rise approx. 7/16" off the finger when worn. It weighs 18.2 grams and is fully signed as shown, dating in 1972.

A set of 12 uniquely crafted masks of devils dating from the Meiji period enclosed in a period custom made kiri-wood box titled Kodai-men Hina-gata Juni-ko (12 miniature ancient masks). They are created from clay covered in gofun and mineral pigments with inset eyes of glass and ivory teeth and horns. Each mask is roughly 9 x 8 x 5 cm (3-1/2 x 3-1/4 x 2 inches). There are some minor losses to the coloration but otherwise all are in fine condition...

Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992) titled “Goro in the Rain” (“Ame no Goro”) dated 1980. This boldly colorful kabuki theater image features an actor portraying Soga Goro, one of two historic samurai brothers who avenge the death of their father. In this image, Soga Goro is dressed in fine clothing and holds an umbrella though no rain is evident. He is apparently travelling to the pleasure quarter to visit a courtesan...

Striking example of the famous sterling, suede and leather "X" belt with dots designed (1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar(1905-86). Currently measuring 2 1/4" Wide by 26" Long. Each end has an additional 1 3/4 inches if a longer length is desired. The dots are fixed in place but the silver X's slide on the suede and leather strap.
