Hector Aguilar one of the best Maestros from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The stones are warmed and the length is 20 inches. You need the length due to the height being a tall 1.38th's inches. I will also be listing the matching bracelet that perfectly hooks into this necklace for a long chain. The presence is stunning and the weight is 170 grams of quality. No damage and well cared for over time.

Margot de Taxco designed beautiful enamel work. The properly signed as shown example presented today is one of the most vibrant of her work. I do not list many enamels due to their condition after close to 60 years of being on this planet earth. This one is museum quality and in MINT condition. The wearable length is 16 inches. The drop is 2.5in. tall and 3in. tall. Spectacular and rare, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Margot van Voorheis Carr designed this wonderful, swirls and beads jeweled bracelet with great skill. She opened her own Taller in Taxco when she divorced Antonio Castillo and created a legacy in her silver designs. The piece is .75in. wide and weighs 40 grams heavy. It is quite rare to find this design with turquoise stones. This jewel exudes an extremely strong presence and is certainly a joy to wear.

Of heavy, dense exotic wood and inlaid with carved shell pieces, this ceremonial staff is from the Solomon Islands, pre 1950s. The form is better than most, having a figural image at the top, well carved with open legs and good detail. The carving depicts a figure with folded arms, slightly bent knees, and a stylized face seen in Solomon Islands iconography. The figural section measures 13 1/4" high. Very nice dark patina, with a lovely slightly glossy surface, some pieces of inlay missing...

A superbly rendered and atmospheric lifetime woodblock print by the famed Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), titled "Ikegami Honmonji Temple" (Honmonji Temple in Snow). First published in 1931, this is an artist's lifetime strike from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. This print is Oban size (14-1/4" x 9-1/2" image size, 19-3/4" x 14-1/4" frame size). It has the 6 mm. red lifetime seal of the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo (seal used from 1946-57)...

A fabulous example of late Deco Portuguese jewelry this hinged "bangle" is signed by Topazio, the country's foremost manufacturer of silver hollowware and jewelry. Wrought in .833 silver, its two "wings" are made up of curved panels with alternating scrolled niello and figural decoration. This specific design is known as "monuments of Portugal", the Belem Tower and the National Pantheon being among the country's architectural treasures portrayed here...

This Antonio Pineda necklace is composed of eleven diamond shaped pyramidal onyx stones which are framed by silver "X" links. The clasp is a tongue in box which is a silver pyramidal shape as well. It's a design which is rarely seen, and a superb modernist piece which is fully articulated and lays perfectly on the neck. It's difficult to measure, so I've shown it against a ruler. I would say it fits more like a choker necklace and is meant to be worn higher on the neck...

It sits in the original 8-1/4" long plush fitted box which has a Ridgway's 45-2902 gold stencil mark on the top and a sliding locking bar/plunger to open it...

An aquatint in colors by the famous Chinese artist Zao Wou-ki (Zao Wuji). He was born in Beijing 1921 and worked in Paris. Signed, dated '59 and numbered 32/95 in pencil. Condition: trimmed (die stamp of l'Oeuvre gravée only last 3 letters), slightly soiled and creased, reverse with annotations in pencil and traces of former mounting, one pinhole in image. Dimension: image: 39.6 cm x 44.5 cm, paper: 49.9 cm x 58.6 cm.

A gorgeous lotus pectoral is the epitome style within the fine Mexican silver from the Spratling era. This one is marked only with the eagle 3 but the ornate chain is telling because from my experience only Vilasanna made this link on the Lotus. It is heavy repousse at 102 grams and has an approximate 17.5in. wearable. The drop is 4 inches tall and 5 in. across. This piece has a very dark patina and will be left to the new owner to make as she wishes...
