This is an old pre-1948 repousse necklace with great depth and dimension. The drop makes it's presence known but is still a size that can go to the board room with ease. The drop is 3in. across and 1.5in. tall. It is puffy repousse but still weighs in at a hefty 61 grams. The earrings and links are 1.25 in. long. Sterling silver bracelet with raised repousse swirls and cascabels designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Bracelet measures 6 3/4" wearable length and 1 1/4" wide. Harmon designs are rare and considered very collectable as he only designed jewelry for a short time in the early 1940's. Excellent condition with gorgeous patina. No dents or dings. Penny Morrill and Carole Berk's book, MEXICAN SILVER p.139 pictures a pair of Harmon earrings in this design.

Something like this cut work does not come around often. Casa Prieto was known for it's quality. This was likely made as an exhibition work, as it certainly would be difficult to fit into even a large Japanese home. A delightful and visually appealing Black Memorabilia kitchen item!

This circa 1940's Mammy and Uncle Mose ceramic Vinegar and Oil Set is marked "JAPAN" on each figure's base.

The pair measures approximately 5.25 inches tall and is in wonderful, all original condition! No chips, cracks or repairs. Mild surface crazing present as is appropriate to the age. Uncle Mose is missing a portion of his original cork neck stopper - a very minor inconvenience!
