This is a gorgeous Fred Davis collar necklace constructed in the technique of backed repousse. Most of this magnitude are flat cut silver sheet. The silver content is a minimum of 925 but in this work it is higher. The color is the luxurious white that we love in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The size is generous which is also rare and does fit on an angle.
No splits or repairs just the usual scratches only seen with magnification on a 70 year plus silver necklace. Superb and a collectors jew...

This appears to be an incarnation of Shindara Daisho of the 12 guardian deities (Juni Shinsho). He has glass eyes and stands on the original Daiza.. The Deity is 21 inches (53.5 cm) tall, total height with stand is 33 inches (83 cm). Later Edo period (18th-19th century). The left hand has been replaced.

I have always seen this signed Aguilar but it has been thought to be a Valentin Vidaurreta design. It is thought to resemble a Mask and is a sleek jewel at 5/8's inches tall and weighs a mere 27 grams of thick silver. The silver is 940 pure and with no damage but plenty of glare. There is a natural dark patina.

Circa mid-century, this quatrefoil necklace from Antonio Pineda is a stunning statement piece.
Executed in 970 silver, the clover shaped pendant features a center cross surrounded by four onyx arcs, and hangs on a velvet cord tipped with silver balls. A thick, solid, and heavy piece, exquisitely crafted and collector quality.
Cord measures 23 1/2" from the tip of each silver ball. Pendant is 2 7/16" wide, and almost 3/8" thick.

Today I have a big 1.5in. tall necklace to offer with an incredible presence. How can I describe this piece other than to say it looks like an Aguilar or Spratling design but it is an original design marked with TAXCO 980. There are no dents to the balls and the silver work has no damage. The weight is 105 grams of quality workmanship. Being 19 inches long there is room enough to fit most. When collecting and I run across something this stellar I do not care who it is signed by or with no name. ...
