Nyoirin Kannon Bosatsu in characteristic seated pose of royal ease, sculpted from a fine-grained igneous stone. Mid-Edo Period ca. 1750. Very minor old loss, with overall softening of the lines and contours. Variegated lichen accumulation.

A SanCai(tri-colored) water pot from Tang Dynasty was in a beautiful look.
In a round shape, the ware was applied with characteristic triple colors(usually as brown, yellow and green) on the upper half of the surface, and left the lower portion unglazed.
The unglazed portion was revealed with the body clay which was in characteristically refined clay.
The beautiful glaze was preserved well but suffused with minute crackles...

Rarely seen on the market this strong, wide design is considered one of Hector Aguilar's finest. Made and signed circa 1940-45 the bracelet is hallmarked HA STERLING MADE IN MEXICO and measures 1 3/8" wide with a 6 1/2" inside wearable length. This bracelet was featured in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE and pictured in the museum catalog by Penny Morrill on page 151. Beautiful vintage condition. An unusual Japanese blue and white porcelain koro, presumably Hizen production. Clearly Japanese with Mon alternating with flowering karakusa on the rim, and the body decorated with almost Nabeshima like cloud and tooth borders enclosing a broad tako-karakusa background featuring peony blossoms on cylindrical form with inverted, broad rim. Five spur marks appear on the glazed foot with no rim. Very good condition. About 3 1/16 inches (7.78 cm) diameter. About 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) high.

It is exciting to find this Arte en Plata necklace which is monumental in stature and rarity. The Jacopo brothers operated Arte en Plata Taller for a short while and featured many talented artists. This piece is an early numbered design 23 and signed AMC as well as the Arte en Plata. The pectoral is thick silver and weighs 96 grams heavy. The wearable length is approximately 17 inches. The drop of flowing leaves is a 4in. x 4in. triangular shape...

This Matl design made by RIVERA is 1.75in. long with the turquoise studded dangles. The width at it's widest point is 1in. wide. The weight is 13 grams. The amethyst are in pyramid in shape and show the crystalline lines inside the stone. There are no chips or damage of any kind. The turquoise is warmed displaying teal colors and the patina is dark. Rivera made designs of high quality and some that were Matlesque in style such as this pair of earrings...

Kuroda Yoshiharu ( 1908 - 1984 ) in Tokyo, has be accepted the Teiten and Nitten ( Japan Fine Art Exhibition ) many times, and was Nitten examination counselor from 1979.
Signed artist mark on the back of the cat.

Measurements: 14 5/8" (37 cm) tall.
Weight (about) : 4.6 kilograms.
It is in good condition.

A Longquan Li-typed censer was in fine crackled glaze which in imitating the favourable Guan wares.
In tripod form, the Longquan censer was preserved in perfect condition when icy wires were spread immensely.
The incursions were happened to the thinner portions of the glaze and on the ridges.
The body clay revealed was in grayish white tint which was a characteristic of Song Dynasty...

Middle Eastern or North African hand of Fatimah cast brass doorknocker. This appears to be made by the sand cast method. The finish is a little rough from manufacture, and it shows wear where the ball hits the striker. Most of the time, these are found as two separate pieces that are mounted separately to the door. This is a much rarer one-piece design. It has four screw holes and is ready to mount. It measures 4.75" long by 3" across, by 2" deep, and weighs a little under a pound.

This features a cartouche with Islamic calligraphy on either side, and a trefoil medallion below the spout. There are foliate semi medallions on the neck as well as on the lid.
