Here is a colorful butterfly realized in plique a jour enamel, silver, and paste stones. Measuring 1-5/8” x 7/8”, and weighing in at 5.6 g, it is just lovely! The butterfly wings are in hues of blue, green, and pink, and it has 2 red stones for eyes. It is set with 20 colorless paste stones, 19 of which have darkened over time. The central stone is much brighter, so it may be a replacement. There are some hairline cracks in the plique enamel, as is typical, also some black spots...

The river of life cuff signed by William Spratling is an iconic design with phase 1 hallmarks. The patina is naturally warm and the height is 1.5in. The weight is a very heavy 147 grams that screams quality. We have a 1in. gap and a 2.25in. diameter that fits most. There beads do reflect glare in these photos. The hallmark is authentic with a double strike to the north / northeast on the conjoined WS. The condition is without damage and collector quality.

An unusual Meiji period bronze image of the jolly Daikoku-ten, one of the 7 gods of fortune, looking incredibly relaxed and content. His hat is removable to reveal a chamber for burning incense, and the smoke would be exhaled though his open mouth. It is 6-1/2 x 8 x 5-1/2 inches 16.5 x 20 x 14 cm) and is in overall fine, original condition. The artist chop is in a raised cartouche on the base and appears to read Yoshioka Minpo.

This pretty glass has a round funnel bowl nicely engraved with cornflowers and ornamental leaves above a mixed twist stem made up of a single spiral thread alternating with a spiral air cable standing on a plain conical foot with broken pontil mark. The glass is nicely made and of good proportions. The engraving is of better quality than is usually found in English engraving of this period and may have Jacobite interest. Mixed twists are considered to be of greater rarity than colour twists...
