Beautiful and large Roseville Blackberry Jardiniere measuring 7" high by 9" wide. Excellent mold and a very clean example with no glaze runs from the berries as is common with this line. The piece is as mint as I have ever found with this 1933 line. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or even crazing. The interior is as clean as the day it was made. A fine example that would make it the cream of your Roseville collection.

A gorgeous Moche III bottle from Peru, ca. 200 - 450 AD. This 7-5/8" high vessel features a snail and cactus motif, painted in red and purple (very rare) over a light orange slip. In addition to the multi-colored spiny cacti and numerous painted snails, this vessel also has many shell adornos, adding great texture to the surface of this fine piece. This snail/cactus motif relates to the snail eating the cactus and concentrating its psychoactive alkaloids...

Two wood rectangles floating inside a larger rectangular frame are held in place by carvings in this 19th century Chinese architectural panel. The mirror has been added. A JIAQING (1795~1820) FAMILLE ROSE BOWL.

A very fine mark & period famille rose bowl but with some restoration to the rim. The bowl is moulded in a petal form and decorated with various plants and flowers above a fine rich border.

7.1/16” diameter. There are a couple of pieces broken from the rim, replaced and restored with painting in the usual way. Personally, I prefer a museum style repair where the broken pieces are glued back and left with no further colouring...
