Big , bold and beautiful cuff with silver overlay and center cluster of turquoise stones by Hopi Victor Coochwytewa who began producing in the 40's and is best known for his traditional Hopi patterns. This bracelet measures 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 3/8" opening. It is 2" wide and weighs a hefty 113 grams. Description: A black Jianyang Temmoko tea bowl of Song Dynasty was intriguingly transformed into a whitish tint by natural burial's incursion. In typical black body of Jianyang kiln, the tea bowl was applied with shear black glaze before being affected by the incursion. In a still slippery feel on the surface, the rare bowl showed itself a charming piece. A similar piece was in a loan exhibition from MOA Japan at The Museum of Fujiang Province.
