A good sample of Yuan Shufu white glaze big bowl, rounded side with flared rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with two dragon on the interior and covered with white Luanbai glaze, bowl is excavated from east Java.
Bowl is in good condition with two large section on the rim has been damage and re-attach / restored, very good sample for studying and comparison.

Most impressive is the intricate high relief 3-dimensional 24K gold inlay work on this high quality iron tsuba (sword guard) for a Japanese sword. Hand tooled by a very skilled artisan is a peony in full bloom, fauna and 2 butterflies. Branches with a few leaves are depicted the backside. In very good condition with fine patination dating to the late 18th century (late Edo), it measures 3" high x 2.75" wide.
