This late Victorian or early Edwardian vanity box has a high relief or repousse design with flourishes, foliage and crimped edges. (trading as Jays) and it also has the retailer's mark on the bottom (JAYS 142 144 OXFORD ST. W.)...

A scarce antique period sterling silver filigree posey holder or tussie mussie c1900. Late Victorian or early Edwardian period posey holders, popularly known as tussie mussies in the UK, were used to hold floral bridal bouquets. This ornate but delicate looking 3" long example has a loop for the (now missing) chain which would have terminated in a heavy straight pin which went through the bottom section of the posey to keep it in place...

A beautiful example from the Meiji period c. 1900 green foil background with flying cranes over ocean waves. Measuring approx. 5 inches tall 12.5 centimeters. In excellent condition no damage to this piece. There is some seperation in the foil under the enamel this is in the making or firing and is not damage see pictures. A fine and beautiful example.

A Rare Signed Candleholder from the workshops of Charles Rohlfs in Buffalo, New York circa 1905. Made of mahogany and brass. Measures about 6 1/2" tall and 7 1/2" across. In good condition, does show some wear and tarnish, top is a bit misshapen. Great look and rare.

An Austrian cold painted bronze quails figurine from around 1900. This highly detailed 1-1/2" wide and 1-1/8" tall group depicts a pair of finely detailed quail birds with brown, white and red cold painting. It is stamped GESCHIT 1134 on the bottom and it is in fair condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, or repairs however it has a rough area on the side of the tall bird which may have been where another bird was attached originally...

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.

An early and beautiful genuine Aesthetic period covered entree dish by Copeland Spode c1870-90. This 14 x 7-3/4" English serving piece has lush gilding, relief handles and branch-style finial and fine handpainting over transfer. It has grape and vine leaves, feeding birds, foliage and a butterfly; it is stamped (faintly) COPELAND with various underglaze numbers and letters and it has painted D9875 markings...

An English figural centerpiece epergne with intertwined palm trees and antlered stag, unmarked but possibly by Elkington & Co. Circa 1865. There are three candelabra arms and a fourth central light that converts to hold a glass, trumpet shaped flower vase. Wonderful detailing and in very good overall condition, but with minor solder repairs to several of the fronds, some bent, and with a couple of frond tips missing...

Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

A Minton's Serving Bowl in the Pink Cockatrice Pattern; Hand Painted and Enameled Bird and Floral Décor with a Scalloped Edge in Pink, Yellow and Green. Dimensions 7" diameter x 1.75" high. Minton's mark for 1892-1901. Excellent condition.

This is a wonderfully colored set of seven Old Paris plates, floral polychrome center medallion on white ground with lilac rims and gilded edges, each plate varies in floral arrangement, overlapping gilt monogram "BRJ" on border of each plate with small crown, one plate has two crazing spots, small chips, measures 5 5/8 in diameter.

In excellent condition this piece has a Chinese ministry of antiquities export stamp on the bottom. English Victorian sterling silver inkstand, Sheffield assay, 1850, by Henry Wilkinson and Company. This inkstand is decorated with geometric hand piercing and has rococo foliate borders, supported on four acanthus feet, with two silver mounted, faceted glass ink bottles and a central removable taper stick, used for the melting of sealing wax. Very rare form of a Kate Greenaway figure by James Tufts Silverplate Company of Boston, ca 1880. A sewing caddy or stand, with rods to hold spools of thread, a pincushion held by the young girl, and a very nice engraved tray in the Aesthetic Movement style. Wedgwood Jasperware Biscuit Jar with Cover; A beautiful Deep Blue color with classical design in white relief. Circa 1895, Wedgwood imprint and "England". Dimension 8" high to finial x 5.25" wide. Inside the barrel, there is some discoloration due to age.

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).

An antique Rogers Star silver plated julep or punch or cocktail strainer spoon circa 1890. This 5-3/4" spoon has a pierced 2-3/4" across bowl and it was used to strain fruits and spices from juleps, punch or poured cocktails. It is stamped 1847 R.B. A1 for Rogers Brothers and it is in very good condition with no monograms, dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor bending to the join area of the handle and a bit of minor plating heel wear.
