Late Meiji to early Showa (1895-1930) period Satsuma covered bowl. Measures 8 3/4" diameter and is 5 1/4" high with the cover on. Decorated in a moriage pattern with young boys (Karako) playing at various pastimes, highly detailed painting interspersed with raised white moriage dots. The interior of the bottom and the lid are both decorated with an elaborate scene of birds flying amongst a profusion of flowers. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips or restorations.

A finely-potted dingyao porcelain dish, with a moulded and auspicious design of a peony at the centre and two phoenixes amidst foliage in the cavetto within a key fret border. The rim is silver. Northern Chinese, Song or Jin dynasty, C11-12. No photograph can communicate the appeal of dingyao which combines both softness and severity...

A Royal Vienna Porcelain Urn. Height 13", condition excellent.

A grouping of Imari pattern Ironstone china by G.L. Ashworth Bros. English. Circa 1862-1891. Included are six dinner plates (10 in.), two soup plates (10 in.), and a large 19 in. oval serving platter. These total 9 pieces. The decoration is hand colored, and the two soup plates have a different coloring to the central design than the other pieces. The platter measures 15 in. x 19 in.

Piero Fornasetti porcelian dish of the advertising poster for Arturo Toscanini's Concert at La Scala. The dish is gold trimmed and measures 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height. There is some wear to the gold trim but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is an original Fornasetti not a later Rosenthal re-issue. Marked on back with Fornasetti Logo, FORNASETTI-MILANO/MADE IN ITALY, followed by a small gold letter "P". Circa 1951

In 1802, Lord Nelson ordered a service in this pattern. Hence it is known as the Nelson pattern.Spode made this version in a porcelain cup and saucer, c1810.

A Meissen Full Green Vine demitasse cup & saucer with a scalloped edge and gold trim. This 2" tall cup and matching 4-1/4" saucer features a wreath of green vine leaves on the outside of the cup and inside the saucer. It has gold trim and highlights and it has the Meissen underglaze blue crossed swords, a blue 43 and an impressed 1159 26. An Edwardian T. Rathbone DANE 1867L water pitcher from the 1910 era. This beautiful, decorative English ironstone ewer or pitcher stands 9" tall and it has the T.R. & Co. swan mark used by T.
