Adams American Express Train Currier & Ives 10-1/2" plate from the 1930s. This decorative multicolour plate features a Currier and Ives scene and it has the Adams mark in use from 1914-40. Rare New England sampler from Enfield, NH, dated 1825, embroidered by Cynthia Terry, aged 11. Decorated with baskets of flowers and with the poem: "When death does throw his fatal dart / The nearest earthly friends must part / Parents must leave their children dear / When they the dreadful summons hear." A Georgian sterling silver pap boat by famous female silversmith Hester Batemen, London, 1784. No repairs or dents. Fully hallmarked below top rim. Size: 4.5 inches length x 2.75 inches depth x 1 inch height. Pap boats were used for the feeding of infants and invalids.

An attractive Royal Albert double ice roses cup and saucer from the 1960s in the Montrose shape. The roses are white and pink with blue and black leaves on this 2-7/8" tall cup and matching 5-5/8" saucer. Unusually this example has attractive lavender edging, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. There are bubbles visible in the glass. Dimensions: 9.5" wide x 7" deep x13.25" high.

A set for 12 mother of pearl handle silver plated fish knives and forks from the 1897-1900 era. This 24 piece set consists of the 7-7/8" fish knives and the 6-3/4" forks. Each piece has a mother of pearl handle with excellent lustre and green and pink flash. The ferrules are unmarked and nicely embossed (they may be silver - we haven't tested them and it wasn't required to mark small, light items)...

Gorgeous pair of porcelain figures by A. W. Fr. Kister of Scheibe-Alsbach in Germany. 16" high (one slightly shorter), with bases of 6" in diameter. The mark of KPM with the crossed swords is from the Kister period, from 1863 to 1905. One figure is signed R. Moller (1855-1902), who was an important designer who worked for various German porcelain companies in the late 19th century. He was an instructor at the Industry Porcelain School in the area...

Intricate sterling silver overlay floral and border design on emerald green glass. Measure 5 1/8" high and roughly 3 1/2" wide. Silver does not appear to be marked, but it is very high quality, with much cut out work and detail. Flowers, vines, and leaves are surrounded by panels of geometric designs, with a solid silver area around the neck.
