The cutest bumble bee broach is made of 14Kt yellow gold; the body is set with an 810X 8 mm oval faceted amethyst and a 7 X 5 mm oval cabochon moonstone. The eyes are 1.5 mm bezel set round faceted rubies. The broach is 1” wide and 7/8” high.

A stylish pair of 14Kt yellow gold and coral earrings with posts for pierced ears. Each earring is set with an 11 mm round cabochon coral button. The diameter of each earring is 5/8”.

An Edwardian diamond and pearl ring set in 14Kt yellow gold and decorated by two old-miner diamonds with I color and SI2 clarity and the approximate total weight of 0.70Ct. The side stones consist of two single cut diamonds and twenty-four rose diamonds will bring the estimated total diamond weight to 0.80Ct. The ring is further decorated by a larger 5mm oriental pearl and two smaller 3mm pearls. The smaller pearls may be oriental pearls as well. The top of the ring measures 13/16” X ½”.

This tailored diamond engagement ring is set in a14kt yellow gold and platinum setting. The very bright, well proportioned solitaire old-miner diamond weighs approximately 0.80Ct and has H color and VS2 clarity.

A 14Kt yellow gold Art Nouveau broach that is portraying two green enameled four leaf clovers. Each clover is centered by an oriental seed pearl. The broach measures 1” X 5/8” and is in excellent condition.

The most stunning carved obsidian mask I have ever seen adorning a piece of Taxco jewelry, this is an exquisitely worked example with a deeply golden brownish sheen to it. I admit that I have a weak spot for Mexican jewelry from the "archaeological" period of the 1930s-40s, when newly discovered pre-Colombian treasures inspired Mexican silversmiths and designers to create jewelry based on the ancient motifs of their rich heritage...

I would never have thought that the necklace presented here was not made in the 1930s or 1940s - design, construction, even the way it is hallmarked point in that direction. Yet it is later as indicated by the maker's registration code - I think it must have been made around 1980. Heavy clusters of bead and tube dangles adorn the central part of the necklace creating an impressive sense of abundance and luxury...

I am very partial to this early, as evidenced by its design number, Los Castillo necklace because it was the first "big name" Mexican piece I ever acquired year ago. Its intricate knot and bead medallion with the teardrop dangle is so enchanting to look at - the circles and curlicues and spheres seem to be in a constant flux. The same sense of movement is mirrored in the links of the chain as they alternate facing opposite directions - just masterful...

Matching the necklace of the same design that is also currently available in my inventory - you can see the two pieces together in the last photo here - a fantastic Los Castillo bracelet in an elaborate knot design. Though a link bracelet this piece holds its shape when worn just like a bangle and it is very comfortable. Please note the deep chasing in the silver work, intensified by oxidation, and the round perfection of the repousse semi-spheres...

The epitome of mod design, a pair of Antonio Pineda chubby hoop earrings wrought in his signature 970 silver alloy - just fab! These look great with the matching hinged bracelet also available in my inventory - though as minimalist as ever possible, they have strong presence and command instant attention. Comfortable to wear and rather unusual. Earrings are 1 1/8" in diameter and approx. 7/16" wide with a thickness of about 1/4"...

Matching the set of chubby hoop earrings also available in my inventory (please look for item no 1112606) this is a stunning Antonio Pineda modernist hinged bracelet. Very substantial but at the same time as minimalist as possible, a piece that hugs the wrist in an intimate, warm way. Measuring just shy of 7" in inner circumference, the bracelet is 1 1/8" wide and its thickness reaches 1/2"...

Sweet and most probably early Los Castillo repousse silver bracelet, its links shaped like curved "X"s accented with beads and deep chasing. This is a very attractive design and the patina that the bracelet has acquired over time enhances its three-dimensional quality. Good weight that feels warm and intimate around the wrist - perfect for smaller to medium wrists and in excellent condition. 6 3/4" long (wearable) by 1 1/8" wide and 44.0 grams...

Beautiful handmade sterling and center coral bracelet with deep chisel work from the White Hogan shop in Scottsdale,Arizona that opened its' doors in 1950 and closed in 2006. This cuff measures 4 3/4" around in the inside plus a 1" opening for a total of 5 3/4" so for a small wrist. However, it could be made larger by a competent jeweler. It is 1 1/2" wide in the front and tapers to 1/2" at the terminals. The coral measures 1" long and 3/8" wide...

An iconic design for Salvador Teran - and possibly one of my absolute favorite designs in Mexican silver ever - this is a pair of "Dancers" earrings. Teran's signature abstraction is clearly evident here as is the innovative way he used the "shadowbox" technique. Measuring 1 1/16" by 7/8" the earrings weigh 14.8 grams and are in excellent vintage condition with fantastic patina and their oxidation in very good shape...

Rare Salvador Teran silver and stone (most probably chrysocolla or agate) dangle earrings, their design a modern interpretation of ancient pre-Colombian motifs in the artist's signature abstract style. They measure 1 13/16" long by 7/8" wide and weigh 23.1 grams (for the set). They are fully signed as shown and in excellent vintage condition with no flaws noted and great patina.

Fabulous, very rare and rather early example of Danish silver jewelry signed by H. Saugmann Bjerregaard, active in Kjellerup in the years between 1921 and 1937. True to its period, the bracelet has an Egyptian Revival theme with its five panels showing Sphinxes holding carved, prong-set chrysoprase stones in them...
