Bold and striking vintage Georg Jensen Denmark "Splash" bracelet no. 88 designed by Henning Koppel. This is a thick and heavy bracelet measuring 7 1/2" end to end, 1 1/2" wide and weighing 94 grams. Because of the thickness of the silver, the wearable length of the bracelet closed is approximately 7". It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Mid-century Danish design at its' very best.

Margot de Taxco's design no 5194, her "roses" parure, is one of her most romantic, "feminine" creations. There is something so tactile about the small silver flowers linking together to make up necklaces, bracelets and brooches that brings a certain kind of "first love" warmth to the heart and puts a smile on the face. Based on the fact that Casa Maya reproduced several of Hubert Harmon's design in copper and brass, Sandy Hargrove in her book on the taller's work suggested that the company must have had the designer's permission to do so...

Completely charming and adorable and beautifully executed vintage 1940s carved wood turtle figural brooch with black and white glass eyes. He is a great size and completely three dimensional and is just as much fun sitting on a table or desk as he is as a pin. A classic 1940s piece and rare to see one so well executed with such excellent detail.

Margot de Taxco design 5647 is a beautiful floral motif with the bracelet and earrings having a stately presence of 1.75in. tall. The repousse is thick and heavy with a combined weight of 155.5 grams. The parure has no damage and is an excellent example of this design. Definitely collector worthy. The necklace is 16.25in. of wearable length. The center piece comes together with a simple ring and the look is divine. The leaves go around the neck with the sizable flowering sections making the drop...

A stunning Art Deco yellow crystal sterling silver buckle design bangle bracelet from around 1920. This vintage beauty shouts Deco and it has the same silver tooling and buckle clasp as seen on signed DIAMONBAR bracelets by Wachenheimer Bros of Rhode Island (1905-1933) and this is probably an early example. The buckle itself has white rhinestones, the sides are finely and ornately engraved, the interior is cut-out and it is stamped only STERLING...

The most stunning carved obsidian mask I have ever seen adorning a piece of Taxco jewelry, this is an exquisitely worked example with a deeply golden brownish sheen to it. I admit that I have a weak spot for Mexican jewelry from the "archaeological" period of the 1930s-40s, when newly discovered pre-Colombian treasures inspired Mexican silversmiths and designers to create jewelry based on the ancient motifs of their rich heritage...

A vintage round double link sterling silver charm bracelet with applied textured hearts from the 1970s. This 7-1/8" bracelet is 7/16" wide, it has a stamped STERLING with an H in a triangle maker's mark (for F.A. Hermann, Framingham, Mass. 1908-77), and it has a box clasp with safety loop. It weighs 12.8 grams and it is in fairly good condition with no breaks, losses, repairs, but some of the loops are slightly bent out of alignment...

Rare and magnificent silver and natural turquoise hair clip by New York Modernist Art Smith(1917-1982). An African American, he took his inspiration from African tribal art and costume to create "sculpture to wear". Most of his work is in brass and copper. It is not often that he worked in silver and even more rare to find stones and silver. The central piece of the hair clip measures 2 3/8" long and 2 1/2" wide at the top, narrowing to 1 1/2" at the very bottom...

Early 1900's charm and elegance are expressed in this lovely set. Shimmering pink crystals are highlighted by tiny clear rhinestones, and the effect is dazzling. Necklace is 16 1/2" at full extension, lavaliere is 3 1/2" wide and 2" high excluding the 1" drops. Bracelet wraps around and slopes to 1/2" high in the back. Front is 1 1/4" high with a plaque 2" high and 4" long.

Miniature versions of the clamper bracelets in the corresponding designs by-pass or wrap rings are veritable miracles of craftsmanship and attention to detail as well as testimonials to their maker's patience and ability to concentrate. And even though I know all this, some examples still amaze me with their superb quality...

Most amazing ever Italian 800 silver charm bracelet in the style of Peruzzi with huge Etruscan fob charms. I could never exaggerate the “wow” factor that this piece possesses. Bezel set chrysoprase, coral, sodalite and what I believe to be carnelian adorn the charms while the links of the chain have small coral cabochons as well. The bracelet measures 7 1/2″ long (wearable; actual length is approx. 8 1/8″) with its width at the chain being 15/16″...

This platinum and diamond ring is a great example of 1920’s filigree work. The rectangular setting holds a 0.57Ct brilliant cut diamond that has an I color and VS2 clarity. The fine details of openwork on the setting are masterfully executed and the ring is in pristine condition. This ring not only makes a fantastic engagement ring, but anyone who appreciates the beauty and splendor created by yesteryear’s brilliant artisans will love it.

A great pair of mid-century modern 970 silver and turquoise earrings by Antonio Pineda. Inspired by the Greek key design, these screwback earrings measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" at the widest point. Beautiful original condition and hallmarked with the Antonio crown , eagle ,Hecho En Mexico 970. These are unique and awesome!
