Amazing sun, moon and stars pin by William Spratling. There is a full page featuring this pin on page 57 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Berk and Morrill. They date it c. 1942. This is a huge and bold pin measuring 3" by 2". It is in beautiful original condition and appropriately signed for William Spratling as shown in the photo. An absolutely spectacular early Spratling pin.

A wonderful Aztec design 940 silver pin with 5 balls and 5 dangles by Hector Aguilar. I have never seen this pin before and I have not found it in any books so believe it to be quite rare. It measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" wide.It is in fine original condition but the safety is missing on the pin clasp so it is currently just a "C" clasp. Although it holds on clothing as it is now, it would be best to replace the safety catch to make it more secure...

Great Art Deco design in this blue check and white enamel bracelet by Taxco silversmith Margot De Taxco. It is in beautiful original condition, no chips or cracks to the enamel and an intact original safety chain with secure push in clasp.Measures 6 7/8" end to end measuring in the inside, 7/8" wide and weighs 65 grams. A very unusual and fine Margot bracelet.

An exquisite sterling collar type necklace by Reveriano Castillo, c.1950. Castillo apprenticed with William Spratling and Hector Aguilar and opened his own shop in 1952. His talent is evident in this necklace. A strong design, this piece measures 15 1/4" end to end and is 1 7/8" wide. The push in clasp is tight. It is in fine original condition and signed for Reveriano Castillo. Looks smashing on the neck and makes a bold statement.

An absolutely fantastic mid-century modern sterling and onyx bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda, c.1950. Bold heavy silver vertical bars that are slightly thinner at one end alternate with the larger end placed next to the smaller end. The larger end is finished with a faceted onyx and the smaller end is plain. Each bar is triple hinged to the next. This smashing bold bracelet weighs 185 grams. It measures 7" around in the inside and is 1 3/8" wide...

Rare and magnificent Hector Aguilar 990 silver and obsidian bracelet. This same bracelet, but with malachite stones, is featured on page 24 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Morrill. They date is c. 1940. The round black cabachon stones appear at first glance to be onyx, however in certain light, the greenish, brownish irridescence of the stones can be seen ( see photo #5)and it is clear that they are indeed obsidian.
