This is a wide, bold Aztec design sterling bracelet by Margot De Taxco. The hand hammered, oxidized insets make a striking pattern. An unusual Margot piece, this bracelet measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and is 2 1/4" wide. It is hinged and opens and closes with a secure push down box clasp. It is solid weighing 138 grams. In 1952 award winning Sigi Pineda opened his own shop in Taxco. These pieces marked and numbered Plateros (enough of the mark is there for easy identification) are some of his best designs. This rare marking did not last long as he soon changed the name of his shop to Sigi. The drop is 4 inches across and 3.25 inches tall from the sides. Very strong, outstanding design in this mid-century sterling pin by Taxco artist Sigi Pineda. Many design elements of shapes and overlapping planes, this three dimensional pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 7/8". It is in fine original condition and hallmarked for vintage Sigi as shown in the photo. This piece is the kind of design for which Sigi is best known.

Glowing blue Moonstones in a rich surrounding fanfare of silver is an earlier signed Antonio Pined necklace. The silver is exceptionally thick weighing 110 grams of quality. The width is a small sum over .75in. No damage to the silver or the stones which are all original. Built on a curve that lays beautifully the length is 16in. wearable. The bracelet shown in one picture is listed separately on my site. This is an heirloom to pass down and love for generations, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Antonio Pineda's designs are timeless as is this 970 sterling silver & black obsidian necklace from the 1950's. Carved crescents of black obsidian frame the intricate silver work at the center. Pendant with bail measures 3" high X 2.3" across. The velvet cord measures 23 inches long and made to tie in the back at your preferred length. The velvet is finished with 2 heavy sterling silver balls. Both pendant and velvet cord are in beautiful condition. Perfect for dress or casual wear.

A rare and early sterling and azur-malachite bracelet by Sigi Pineda. The impeccable fusing of stone with silver is much like the work of Enrique Ledesma. The bracelet is hinged and the opening is on the side of the wrist. Measuring 7" around in the inside, it is 1 1/4" wide at the widest point. All original, fine condition and signed as shown. Possibly custom made and one of a kind.

VERY RARE Hector Aguilar Aztec Metal Symbols Cuff bracelet c. 1940-55 in 940 silver. It is featured on page 29 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Morrill and Berk. Each panel has a different Aztec metal symbol. The bracelet is hinged on one side and has a pin closure. It measures 6 1/2" around in the inside and is 1 1/4" wide. It weighs 115 grams and is in beautiful original condition. Signed as shown. VERY hard to come by and an amazing masterpiece.
