Beautiful hand hammered sterling necklace by Margot De Taxco. This design is not often seen and it is lovely. The necklace measures 16 3/4" end to end and is 2" wide at the center front point. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A great piece for the Margot collector.

Sold. Taxco Mexico Handsomely Crafted Hinged Neck Collar marked: "Mexico" "950" and "TM-77". It weighs 3.7 Ounce or 107 of 95% Silver and measures 16.75" from end to end on the inside. The tri-lobal part measures 1.75" across and 1/2" wide at the sturdy hinge. Some tiny lines that vintage silver gets, yet is easily buffed. A lot of necklace for the price.

Large scroll or ribbon pin by William Spratling c. 1945. It is pictured on page 45 of Morrill and Berk's book MEXICAN SILVER. It is crafted of sections of silver with copper and gold. A bold size, measuring 3" by 2 1/4", it is in fine original condition, weighs 37 grams, and is appropriately signed for William Spratling as shown in the photo. A glorious pin.

This is the best Los Ballesteros bracelet ever. Wonderful 1 1/2" wide sterling hinged bangle with black enamel polka dots strategically placed all around the bracelet. The back is as interesting as the front. It measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and weighs a solid 119 grams. Tight push in clasp and fine original condition. Signed for Los Ballesteros as shown. I just LOVE this bracelet!

An exceptional sterling and enamel necklace and bracelet by Margot De Taxco. This is the work for which she is best known and this set is surely one of her finest. The "W" design is intriguing and the black, white and silver dot enamel highlight the three dimensions. The necklace is 18" long and 1" wide in the front. Salvador Teran never looked better in his designs than this necklace and earring set. The velvet is a double strand going around the neck and has a 16.5in. wearable. It is clean and perfect. The silver is thick and substantial weighing 128 grams. The lariat is approximately 24in. long to the end tips. The tips and earrings are the same cut work but smaller in size but the earrings are still striking being 2.25in. in length...

Very early, pre-eagle mark, sterling necklace by Los Castillo. A bold and important piece, it is featured on page 87 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date it c. 1945. Beautiful geometric design, it measures 15" around total. The center section is 4 1/2" across and 1 1/2" wide. Solid at 135 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed for Los Castillo as shown. It is gorgeous in every way.
