One of the few women Mexican silversmiths, her work is hard to find and always interesting and beautiful.Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. YEOW!! This is one incredible bracelet. Spectacular design and construction, the pictures tell everything. The eight panels are all triple hinged and move.There is a secure closing push in clasp. It measures approximately 6 3/4" in the inside of the bracelet.It is hard to get exact because it is rounded and fans out. It is a full 2 3/4" wide and weighs an amazing 221 grams. It is signed SILVER MADE IN MEXICO so is c. 1940 as there is no bell or eagle mark...

A wonderful Aztec design 940 silver pin with 5 balls and 5 dangles by Hector Aguilar. I have never seen this pin before and I have not found it in any books so believe it to be quite rare. It measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" wide.It is in fine original condition but the safety is missing on the pin clasp so it is currently just a "C" clasp. Although it holds on clothing as it is now, it would be best to replace the safety catch to make it more secure...

Rare and beautiful Fred Davis chevron bracelet.This bracelet is featured on page 27 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date this bracelet c.1930. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/8" wide. It is in fine original condition with a secure push in clasp and weighs 44 grams. It is signed for Fred Davis as shown in the photo. All of the work of Fred Davis is very desirable and collectible as it is very difficult to come by. A beautiful example of his work.

Fabulous, rare, Antonio Pineda sterling and amethyst cuff bracelet. Incredible mid-century modern design and very unique construction with the middle row of amethysts hinged at each end and the entire row able to move up and down. This is a massive and bold piece measuring 1 1/2" wide in the front, tapering to 3/4" at the ends in the back. It is 5 1/4" in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so for a 6 1/2" wrist. It weighs 143 grams and is in fine original condition...

A charming chain and dangling ball sterling necklace by Horacio Parra. Horacio de le Parra was a manager in 1950 of Conquistador which was the largest silver factory in Mexico at the time. He was a friend of both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar. This piece is certainly of the same quality as their work. It measures 15" end to end and is 1" wide. Weighing 104 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A wonderful necklace.
