Vintage amethyst and 970 sterling silver necklace set designed and signed c.1950 by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda. Necklace measures 16" long and approx. 1/2" wide. Bracelet measures 7 1/2" long and approx. 1/2" wide. Beautiful condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. Both clasps in fine working order. Both pieces fully hallmarked on reverse.

This is an incredibly rare Los Castillo early brooch numbered 169. The azurmalachite is 5/8th's inch long and the entire length of the pin is 3 inches. The width is 2inches. Formed as a pair of stylized swans on water, this sterling pin has both an abstract and arts and crafts feel. There is little information on the jeweler Nino Bisso (1906-1988), but his work exhibits extraordinary skill and creativity. Internet sources peg his company’s production from the 1920s through the 1940s. The back of this pin bears two applied plaques with Bisso’s marks. The pin measures 2 ¼ inches long by 1 ¼ inches high. Early vintage handmade sterling silver bracelet designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar(1905-86). Measures 7 inches long X 1 inch wide. Comprised of 9 repousse wave panels with applied rope trim. Penny Morrills's book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO pictures the bracelets' hallmarks - HA STERLING MADE IN MEXICO and states that those marks were used on Aguilar designs from 1940-45. The clean straight lines stand out and the V slightly perks off the chest. Wonderful with a business suit or dress. Nicely designed with a bold look, this bangle features a molded, embossed surface of tiny rectangular bars scattered across a textured surface. The bracelet is unmarked; its sophistication and textured finish point to an Italian maker. It has a concave interior, and is quite sturdily made. Its dating would be around 1960-1970. The opening measures 2 ½ inches across; it has an interior circumference of about 8 inches. The bangle itself is ¼ inch wide. Weight: 34.8 grams

This sterling silver and enamel bangle bracelet has a bold Nordic design that enhances its narrow, delicate shape. It bears the mark of Aksel Holmsen, an N in a square, which stands for the workshop’s ‘Norse’ line. Here is a cleverly designed and expertly worked pair of sterling silver earrings of abstract form, made by studio jeweler Patricia Daunis of Maine. Each earring is composed of a single piece of silver, cut into ribbons and twisted. The bands have a textured surface on one side that appears to have been produced by hammering or some sort of compression, as the design shows slightly on the undecorated side.
