Measuring 8" x 6.75", the seated lion is cast upon an oval stepped plinth, and signed Barye. The surface is a deep brown patina, with slight wear in raised areas where it has been handled. The entire surface of the lion is well cast and detailed, with the musculature and fur clearly depicted.
