BeautifulIy crafted in the Renaissance Revival style, this wonderful footed bronze coffer has a rich variety of scenes on all sides and on top, and is lined with dark blue twill fabric. Early American Chippendale tall chest, Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1760-1780. Size: 64 1/2 inches ht. x 45 3/8 inches wide x 23 1/2 inches deep. Figured walnut. This chest has three horizontally positioned top drawers above five finely graduated drawers, flanked with fluted quarter columns, and supported on ogee form bracket feet. Older replaced oval brass bail pulls. Excellent antique condition.
