This is a very nice set of 6 dining chairs commonly called Os de Mouton by the French, made from solid beech by the beginning of the 20th century. Each with tall arched back standing upon a comfortable seat supported by the boldly built scrolled pediment providing stability and sturdiness. The yellow upholstery is estimated to be a decade old and in slightly used condition but still passable. Circa date 1900-1910. Dimensions 43½”high/ 19"seat height/ 20"wide/ 18"deep.

This is a very nice glazed confit pot from the end of the 19th century. Such jars were used as cooler for perishable food and were originally buried up to the glaze portion of the pot. They come mostly from the southwest part of France. Note the adorable pair of handles commonly called Oreilles (Ears) by the French. Several imperfections can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880-1890. Dimensions 12"high/ 11"wide with handles.
