The trunk measures 44 inches long (112 cm); 22.5 inches deep (57 cm); 23 inches high (58 cm). The trunk has both leather handles, they may have been replaced years ago. A Renaissance Revival library table in walnut with wonderful carved and pierced acanthus leaf decoration to either end support. The medial stretcher supports three beautifully proportioned turned and carved balusters, and a gadrooned frieze reveals two real and two faux drawers with oak interior, again with acanthus decorated wooden pulls.
