A sterling propelling extending pencil with a garnet top from the 1900 era. Worn on a watch fob or on a chatelaine, this sliding pencil was invented by Samuel Mordan however this example isn't signed or marked. It features attractive hand engraving and the garnet top tests as genuine. Offered for sale is a 19th century, medium-sized, apothecary pharmacy bottle sporting “PULV. CANEL. ALB.” on the label under glass label!

The 8.25 inch tall bottle is marked on the base, “WN WALTON PAT. SEP 23 1862”, and is of early blown glass construction. The fancy, recessed applied label is complete and is in very nice condition. The stopper is of ground glass construction and is in very good order as well.

The inside of the bottle is 1/3 full of a light brown powder...

A Northern Plains native American pipe with a carved Catlinite bowl and original twisted reed stem. Circa 1870-80. Overall length: 30". The twisted stem has brass tack decoration at the bowl end and attaches to an elbow shaped red Catlinite pipe bowl. Excellent condition, except for a hole in the twisted reed stem.

Offered is a very scarce boxed set of late 19th century Homeopathic medicine vials, most of which still retain their contents. The box is made of cardboard covered by a thin layer of what appears to be leatherette.

Offered for sale is a fabulous, Henry Troemner of Philadelphia, oak and pink marble balance scale from the late 1800s. Balances such as this were known as BOX or COUNTER scales and were used in pharmacies to weigh drugs and other items.
