I am pleased to offer this latest acquisition direct from a pharmacy collection in Litchfield, CT.

This lovely 19th century, hand-blown, diamond swirl glass apothecary show globe is a rarity indeed! The condition of the glass is wonderful with no chips or cracks noted and with only minor, faint, interior water remnants seen. Noted on the sculptured finial are some faint unobtrusive scratches.

Vintage steel frame NAUTICAL DISTANCE INSTRUMENT made in GERMANY mid twentieth century used to measure Nautical Miles, Statute Miles, Kilometers, one inch to one mile on maps, having English on one side. The other side in French Inches to Miles or Versies, Centimeters to Kilometers, rotating disc at base corresponds to movable needle, measuring distance on maps. This extraordinarily difficult to find pharmacy “IDEAL CAPSULE FILLER” was used by early 20th century druggists in the Pierce Pharmacy, Hartford, Connecticut.

The machine was successfully developed to increase a pharmacist's capsule production. The patent date is stamped Oct. 31, 1905, and the direction guide is marked "Baltimore Capsule Co." The capsule filler has a filling plate with 4 parallel rows of 24 holes and each row was made for 2 different size capsules...

A C.M. Von Valkenburg Petrolia gold filled pocket watch circa 1900. This 2" across stem-wind pocket watch has a porcelain dial with a single sunk seconds dial and blued hands. It is printed with C.M. VON VALKENBURG PETROLIA (Ontario, Canada) on the face, and the 1-5/8" across works has nice damascening. The works are marked ADJUSTED 2 POSITIONS 17 JEWELS 3876866. We haven't identified the works however the regulator resembles that of Howard or Ball watches...

This fine, walnut, twenty-five compartment case houses twenty three medicine bottles, most of which are embossed FRASER & CO, with a few marked FRASER.
