A very rare big shard sample of five dynasty bowl, this shard is decorated with celadon glaze, there is good sample drawing of dragon. This shards is very good for studying and comparison to any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain.

With a green and yellow glaze, decorated in relief with a fish between water plants. One side of the flask is left uncleaned to show how the flask was found. The soil can be easily removed. Condition: very good with expected age wear and age cracks in the glaze. 20 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)

This is a fine 19th century Chinese Export blue and white bowl; the everted rim has a raised edge and a floral border; the interior is painted with flowering branches and a stylized landscape; unglazed bottom; Condition is very good having no chips or paint flakes, small shallow hairline on back; Measurement: diam 10 1/4 in.; height: 3 in.

The fabric was probably cut out from an old kasuri futon blanket and made into Yu-age. What is Yu-age? When I purchased this beautiful wall hanger like piece (I thought), I was told that this was Yu-age, an old fashioned sounding name to me. This is a bath towel according to the Japanese dictionary.
