A very unusual group of tomb figures, depicting three boys holding an zodiac sign. Painted and glazed pottery, the heads detachable. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 25 cm. Condition: only one figure has a minor chip to the neck. No other damages or repairs, very nice old burial condition. Comes with a TL report from Ralf Kotalla in Germany.

Peach bands of silk arranged in vertical columns stagger across six feet of Kesa interspersed with colorful patches featuring flowers and geometrics. The Kesa is backed with sumptuous orange silk. It is accompanied by a smaller piece of the same design called Ohi, a sash worn along with the Kesa. The Kesa is 78 x 45-1/2 inches (198 x 115.5 cm), the smaller Ohi 12 x 57 inches (30 x 142 cm)...

This is a rare find! We just had to restore this amazing set of four matching Gendarme Club Chairs. Originally circa 1940's, these beauties deserved a second life. Recovered with our signature winter sheepskin, they offer a deep, full, comfortable seat. Hook a leg over one of these and you will fall in love. We would prefer to find a home for all four together, but are willing to sell as pairs as well. Dimensions: 38" wide, 40" deep, 30" high, 23" seat depth.

Fine Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse & Lady Rider (36cm)

This attractive pottery model of a horse & female rider was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a relatively highly-fired buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in various different coloured pigments. The horse stands alert with its head turned a little to its left...

A small serving bowl of five petal form, rinkagata namasu-zara, with a stencilled pattern of imbricated waves, seigaiha, with cherry blossom, sakura-hana inset with two small reserves containing prunus and bamboo boughs. The reverse decorated with a simplified Lotus scroll and a four character Dai in nensei mark. A dark brown fuchibeni “lip rouge” glaze to the rim...

Sold. Sweet Saphiret Art Glass Gold Gilt Bar Pin from around 1900 with nine 4mm saphiret set cabochons. These do not have the matte finish seen in earlier mid Victorian jewelry, yet the magical color change is most apparent. Sold, no price, no info available

A George Culley Canada watercolour painting of a boathouse dated 1958. This unframed 15-1/2" x 11-1/4" watercolour on paper is by George S. Culley (Canadian, 1905-?) depicting a boathouse on a river. This painting is in excellent original condition with no foxing, staining, bends, tears, losses, damage or repairs. It is signed G.S. Culley '58 on the lower left. It is not titled, but the scene is from Northern Ontario...

A stunning sterling and white coral cuff bracelet,pin/pendant and earrings set by Carmelo Patania. Carmelo Patania founded The Thunderbird Shop in Santa Fe with his brother Frank Patania Sr. in 1937 and then opened The Kachina Shop in 1957. The cuff measures 6" around in the inside and is 1" wide. It weighs 50 grams. The pin/pendant measures 2" diameter and the clip earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. All pieces are in fine original condition and all pieces are signed CP Sterling...

Sterling vermeil pendant-tassel necklace and clip earrings, Nettie Rosenstein from the 1930's or early 40's. Pendant has oriental feeling in a bird cage effect complete with ruby rhinestone flowers and turquoise colored beads. Simulated seed pearls form the border. The twisted rope chain is thick and works well with the pendant. Oval earrings match the pendant design. Chain is 15" long, 1/4" thick. Pendant is 2" long, 1" wide, 1/2" deep. Tassel is 1 1/2" long. Earrings are 1 1/8" by 3/4"...

An exceptionally fine sterling and turquoise necklace by Frank Patania. The stones are beautiful and set in saw toothed bezels. Measuring 14" end to end, the center square is 1/1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide. An extender can easily be added to the chain in the back so that this piece can fit a larger neck. Fine original condition and signed as shown. These pieces are highly collectible and heirloom quality.

Measuring 4 ¼ inches high with a 3 /14 inch diameter, this UNUSED, 1 pound can of circa EARLY 1930’s, Old BLACK JOE Axle Grease is in very fine condition! There is some wear to the paint along the edge of the lid cover and at the top and bottom side surfaces, but virtually no rusting! The only noted rusting was to the base of the can and this is very superficial and can be buffed away...
