Modern limited-edition Japanese etching by Takahiko Hayashi (b. 1961) titled “The Wind Filled with Roots, Countless Small Beginnings” dated 2001. Pencil-signed, titled in kanji, and numbered 45/50 in the bottom margin. Paper: 25” x 23” (frame: 26” x 23 1/2"). Very good overall condition. Floated on an archival mat in a shadow-box frame with UV glass. The wood moulding has a coppered finish. From a Tucson, Arizona collection.

This is an old pre-1948 repousse necklace with great depth and dimension. The drop makes it's presence known but is still a size that can go to the board room with ease. The drop is 3in. across and 1.5in. tall. It is puffy repousse but still weighs in at a hefty 61 grams. The earrings and links are 1.25 in. long. The bead work is all hand applied which was labor intensive. No dents and no repairs or damage...
