Rare handmade (c.1920) sterling silver box with bezel set amethyst cab stone and 4 gold or copper dome accents designed and signed by Fred Davis (1880-1961). Marked FD 925. 2" X 1 1/4", 1" H. 32grams, 1.02oz. Beautiful vintage condition with normal surface ware. Art Deco Egyptian Revival Brass Bookchain festoon necklace with 5 oval pierced pressed red glass oval drops found at the same estate of a collector who collected very theatrical jewelry. It along with the turquoise color one were acquired some 15 years ago. This type of book chain festoon necklace ending in a decorative fold over clasp were often seen worn by Victorian women as well. Again, one can almost see this in some silent movie of decades past.....
