Antique finely inlaid micro mosaic plaque with cocker spaniel. Mid 19th century. No cracks. A very early Roman micro mosaic plaque of a spaniel fashioned from miniature colored glass tesserae set in beveled black onyx glass, in subtle colors of green, brown and white finely fitted to create a most realistic depiction. Originally made to be set as a brooch but never mounted. Size: 1 1/4 inches x 1 5/8 inches.

A great example of fine enamel work of the second half of the 19th century is represented in this beautiful oval broach, depicting a mountain lake scene with a castle and a sail boat. The frame is continental (800) silver with Austrian hallmark and maker's mark "KJ". The condition of the enamel is nearly perfect except for some slight hair-line cracks in the front and as well as in the back which is white enamel. The pin measures 1 7/8" in length and 1 1/2" in width.

Vintage Deco Chinese silver filigree bracelet having a vermeil finish and adorned with what seems to have been a late 19th c. carved jade button showing the figure of a bat or butterfly (?). Floral and foliate enamel decoration in cobalt and sea blue as well as green and red along with stylized "shu" characters in silver overlay complete the piece. Measuring 7 1/8" long (wearable) the bracelet has a width that varies between 1" at the center front and 7/17" at its narrowest...

Gorgeous vintage sterling silver hinged bracelet, I believe this to be a late Art Nouveau example if not a nature-inspired piece of the 1940s. Some times it is difficult to say with jewelry that is not signed since styles held on after the "official" end of an era and techniques remained constant as well. This is obviously a hand-made bracelet and it consists of two "wings" replete with scroll and foliate repousse motifs...

This Rebajes Bracelet is in fabulous condition. The bracelet has alternating links of Fans and Rectangles, with black patination highlighting the Fan links. The back of the bracelet is zinc coated, and the clasp holds securely. Bracelet measures 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) in length and is 1 5/8 inches (4 cm) wide. Bracelet is signed. Circa 1950's.

Gorgeous Ella Cone sterling silver and lapis lazuli necklace, this is a piece that retains American Arts and Crafts influences and has the quality and design originality that characterize Cone's best pieces. I love the richness of the dark blue in the stones in juxtaposition to the warm glow of well-aged, well-loved silver. The necklace has a wearable length of 14 5/8" (actual length - always measuring the shortest strand - is 15 1/4" but I am leaving some allowance so you can clasp it)...

One of the nicest, early Los Castillo repousse necklaces I have seen, this piece is a pleasure to wear and to behold. Meticulously worked scrolling links with beading and scale details combine in a pectoral that is eye-catching and attractive without being overwhelmingly big. With a wearable length of 16" (might wear a little longer because of the flexibility of the central links , its pectoral part is about 5 1/4" wide and 3 1/4" tall while at the chain, the necklace is just above 1/2" wide...

This platinum and diamond ring is a great example of 1920’s filigree work. The rectangular setting holds a 0.57Ct brilliant cut diamond that has an I color and VS2 clarity. The fine details of openwork on the setting are masterfully executed and the ring is in pristine condition. This ring not only makes a fantastic engagement ring, but anyone who appreciates the beauty and splendor created by yesteryear’s brilliant artisans will love it.

A truly monumental Los Castillo bracelet combining sublime relief and beadwork in wide scroll and leaves links held together with silver rings on the back. This specific design doesn't come up very often and both its inventory number and taller's signature in straight line capital letters indicate that it belongs in the earlier Los Castillo period, the 1940-1945 years when Margot was also designing for them. With a wearable length of 7" the bracelet is 1 1/2" wide and weighs 68.1 grams...

Very much in the early style of Fred Davis, a vintage Deco Taxco necklace wrought in almost pure, 980 silver. This is a classy, substantial piece with its shield form links made out of silver sheet with good thickness and adorned with applied repousse semi-spheres, etching and bezel set amethyst cabochons. A true Mexican beauty, 16 1/4" long (wearable; easily lengthened with the addition of a sterling extension which I can provide upon request) by 1" wide, weighing a good 95.6 grams...

Impressive, having the distinct "ethnic" character that characterizes this genre of vintage Mexican jewelry, a set of articulated earrings by Rivera in emulation of Matilde Poulat's jeweled creations. Beading, wire work, amethysts and turquoise set in channels and bezels combine to make this truly regal set. Dating in the pre-1948 period (I believe Rivera's early pieces to be among the best alternatives to Matl's own work) the set is signed with maker's name as well as "HECHO EN MEXICO 925"...

VERY rare mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Georg Jensen Denmark. I have never come across this bracelet before and although the bracelet number is referenced in the Jensen book by Drucker, there is no photo, which leads me to believe that this piece is extremely rare. It measures 7 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. It weighs 79 grams and is in fine original condition with a great patina. Signed as shown...

Early Robert Lee Morris sterling heart shaped pendant on a black fabric cord. Marked RLM in script. 1970s, from a Baltimore estate and I am also listing a crescent shaped pendant necklace from this same estate. Robert Lee Morris began designing jewelry in 1970 and has collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Kors, and Donna Karan. This piece is yellow gold over sterling silver, with a matte finish.
