The center diamond in this vintage engagement ring is an approximately 0.76 Ct brilliant cut diamond. This is not a lab certified diamond, but graded by our in house gemologist to be J color and VS1 clarity. The center stone is flanked on either side by three full cut diamonds (0.18Ct total), which brings the approximate total weight of all diamonds to 0.94Ct. The fishtail type setting is made of platinum. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.
This Matl is halmarked for when Matilde Poulat was designing in her shop. The drop is 3.25 in. tall and 3 1/8th inches across. The chickies have rounded puffy bellies and are nicely carved. There is no damage to silver or stones. I categorize the size of this well done Matl as a medium size. There are 2 larger lead off links that are identical as the rest of the chain. The clasp is also jeweled ending the design with a well balanced appearance...

Highly prized by vintage Mexican silver collectors, this 1940's abstract Spratling brooch is often referred to as jester or clown pin when viewed upside down. A Carved and Gilded Buddhist Reliquary containing a polished pink stone exhibited at the Shimane Prefectural Musuem Arakawa Kisai exhibition in 1974 enclosed in a custom-made wooden box and retaining the loan papers from the museum as well as the original pamphlet. The wood body has been carved in tempestuous waves, lacquered black and gilded, with a polished pink orb inside a flame shaped finial. It is 7 inches (18 cm) tall and in excellent condition.
