Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. A lidded bottle of hand blown clear blue glass with a dimpled bung by Nakashima Yasushi signed on the base Y. Nakashima. It is 5-1/2 inches (14 cm) tall plus the lid, and in excellent condition. Perfect for chilled summer sake. Sorry about the pictures, it was washed but had not dried on the inside, causing a film-like dappling in the photographs.
