A modernist ring by Lapponia in sterling silver, 'Erosion'. Has a light purple cast similar to the Flame finish seen on bronze pieces.
Marked with the Lapponia Hallmark, 925, Finnish silver standard mark, and X7, the date code for 1975.
The front of the ring measures 1 1/4" long. Ring is a size 6.5-7. May be able to adjust slightly due to the open nature of the design.
Fine condition. Heavy and bold. Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.
This lovely Art Nouveau lavaliere is unusual with its square lines at the top, making it both charmingly antique and very modern in appearance. It is made of 9 ct gold and is set with amethysts [the smaller stones] and a garnet/glass doublet. ] The pendant is 2" x 1", and is on a 16" 14 k gold chain [modern]. The pendant itself is circa 1900.

Terrifically stylish Art Deco cufflinks fashioned as domed silver discs with 14K gold appliqués reminiscent of Georg Jensen’s “Blossom” designs. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The connectors are marked “900”.
Origin: probably Denmark, circa 1920. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: larger faces, 5/8” diameter. Weight: 10.0 grams.
Elaborately carved mother-of-pearl disks set in 14-kt yellow gold backs and embossed platinum rims, from the 1920s. Small pearls grace the centers of each disk. The gold bridge bars are securely attached to the connector; the back of each disk bears the maker’s mark of Carter, Gough & Co., of Newark, NJ. Each measures ½ inch in diameter.

This is a classic “cigar band” ring from around the turn of the last century, and moving into the Edwardian era, often called a “gypsy” ring, made from richly-colored 18kt yellow gold. The center stone is a diamond, the outer two stones are rubies. It has decorative scroll work on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, England, 1903, and there is an illegible maker’s mark. Very nice Victorian sterling silver doubled-faced cufflinks decorated with Classical medallions in the Shiebler style. The medallions depict are Greek in style and depict and adult man and a youth in profile. The backgrounds are stippled and the edges are beveled and irregularly shaped to suggest antiquity. The backs are marked "Sterling".
