Obsidian and 970 silver modernist necklace by Antonio Pineda, Mexico, c.1950's. Made of heavy gauge silver, this famous necklace is in excellent condition. Elegant signed Mikimoto brooch of 14K yellow gold with pearls. The pearls, ranging from 5 to 5.5mm are of the quality that only Mikimoto can produce. The body color is a bright white with silver overtones. The lustre is exceptional. The design is a sort of abstract flower basket design. The back is marked with Mikimoto's shell hallmark.

Origin: Japan, circa 1950s. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1-3/8" x 1-1/4". Weight: 7.0 grams.

Reward: Be the first to identify the vintage mystery mark on this demi with lapis blue art glass cabs. "C" catch on brooch pin, fine chain with old clip for pendant, both marked STERLING, while this maker's mark (see image 4 & 5), seen on other Arts Crafts pieces, is stamped on the brooch only.

Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.

Glistening crystal clear rhinestones in both channel and pave settings, this Marcel Boucher set is typical of the elegant style produced by that company. The choker links are arched giving a rich three dimensionallook to the piece.
