Ca 1892 An ornately stamped gilt metal blue chalcedony (dyed agate) bracelet in original condition with detailed crimped frames and expandable panels all accented by flowerheads and small opals. Very nice Victorian shakudo pin featuring a wonderful scene of Mt. Fuji. The foreground shows two quail, worked in gold, foraging amidst incredibly detailed wildflowers. The snow on the peak of Mt. Fuji is picked out in silver. The entire pin is beautifully patinated. After the samurai system in Japan ended, highly skilled swordmakers turned to jewelry as a way of continuing their centuries-old skills. The pin retains its original pinstem and clasp.

Made of the same medium brown thermoplastic used in the era for items such as photograph cases (and sometimes mis-described as gutta percha, and also known by the trade name of Vulcanite), this 1-7/8" x 1-1/2" brooch has fine detail, and it depicts a cameo of very high definition (she sits a full 3/8" above the surface platform)...

Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. Elegant pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces decorated with a stamped pattern of baskets filled with diamond-set flowers. The single-cut diamonds, though small, are of very good quality and are a nice contrast to the gold. The gold surfaces have the bloomed texture usually seen in French jewelry of the period. Lovely late Victorian enameled 14K yellow gold stickpin in the form of a four-leaf clover. Half of each petal is decorated in shaded enamel and the other halves are set with minute seed pearls. Elegant platinum and diamond bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. The bracelet features 23 collet-set 10-point round brilliant-cut diamonds spaced along a platinum chain. A fine vintage 14K white gold bypass style diamond fashion ring, c 1940-1950. The top of each shoulder is set with three 2.4mm, round single cut diamonds that are Sl1-Sl2 in clarity and H-J in color. Centered, raised and prong set, are three modern round brilliant cut diamonds that measure 3.5mm, 3.7mm, and 3.5mm. All are the Sl clarity range and G-K in color. Combined diamond weight of the ring is 0.77 cts. Size-7 1/2; Excellent condition.

Lovely vintage sterling silver brooch set with a cluster of eight Mikimoto-quality pearls. The pearls range from 6.0 to 7.5mm. They have very white body color with silvery overtones. The nacre is thick and very lustrous. Mikimoto supplied other jewelers with pearls and it is most likely that these are by Mikimoto. The openwork sterling silver setting in a stylized floral form is typical of the 1950s and the clasp is identical to those used by Mikimoto during the period. The back is marked ...
