A very cool brooch by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. This brass brooch measures 2" across and 2 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Signed Peggy Miller on the back. The points are curved up giving the brooch a three dimensional effect. There is some tarnish. Great mid century design.

This 14Kt yellow gold vintage pair of scissors charm is from the 1960-s. The scissors measure 5/8 X ¼”.

These earrings have a Modern American Studio look. They measure 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/4". The graduating, semi-circles exhibit the Studio style. They are c. 1960's and in excellent condition.

A very tailored and stylish pair of 14Kt yellow gold door-knocker earrings with hammered finish and a combination of post and clip backs. The earrings are 1 7/16” high and ¾’ wide at the widest part.

These sterling silver earrings have a great mod, geo design. They are by silversmith Miguel Garcia Martinez, a primary designer for Rancho Alegre, Taxco, Mexico. The turquoise stones are bezel-set in a tear-drop shape that matches the shape of the earrings (which are slightly concave). Both earrings are marked miguel (in script) and 231. They are also hallmarked RANCHO ALEGRE. They dangle 1 1/2" from their screwback closures. They are circa 1960s and are in excellent condition.

Bold, large, modernist 14k ring with rose quartz stone, Denmark, c.1960's. Great architectural Scandinavian design using a rough-cut stone bezel set in smooth shiny gold makes for this great ring. It measures 1 7/16" from bottom to top and is size 7. The front measures 1" and sits 3/4" above the finger and the band is an integral part of the design of the ring. Of heavy gauge gold(weighs 13 gms), it is signed "585 KA" and is in excellent condition...

An interesting hand wrought ring in copper with two brass overlaid wires by JB Pericles. Marked Pericles Haiti on the back. Currently a size 7 but is adjustable.

Jean Baptist Pericles was closely associated with Winifred Mason Chenet d'Haiti who trained the exceptional jeweler, Art Smith.

This ring has some tarnish.

A nice Italian Etruscan style 18K gold lantern-shamed fob charm enhanced with coral cabochons. The midsection of the charm is left open to give it a feeling of lightness and to bring more life to the coral. The gold surfaces are enhanced with twisted wire and rosette decoration. The charm is stamped “750” for 18K.

A classic pair of diamond and pearl earrings from the 1960’s is set in 14Kt yellow gold with a European lever backs. These earrings can be worn dressy for occasions or sporty with jeans or basically all the time. The well matched high luster cultured pearls measure 8.5 millimeters and the approximate total weight of the two full cut diamonds is 0.10Ct.

An outstanding 14K yellow gold and pearl ring in a sophisticated modernist the design. The split shank creates a flat crown enclosing a row of three pearls, graduating from 5.3 to 6.6 mm. The quality of the pearls are easily on a par with Mikimoto. The luster is superb, the color is cream with rosé overtones, and the surfaces are smooth. Overall, the quality is estimated at AA. A heavy weight 14Kt yellow and white gold pendant that has a fluted oval and bow design, and which is centered by a prong set 9 X 7 millimeter oval cabochon opal. The pendant comes with a 16” 14Kt yellow gold cable chain.

A lovely 18K yellow gold Sputnik ring by H Stern. The dome is bezel-set with round citrines amethysts, green and pink tourmalines, garnets and aquamarines. This design was created in the 1950s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It came to be called “Sputnik” because of its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957.
