A pair of handsome 18K yellow gold cufflinks designed in an Art Nouveau interpretation of Gothic Revival. The heavy pierced front faces are reminiscent of the ornate carved stone bosses at the interesections of the ceiling ribs in a Gothic vaulted ceiling, while the back faces are pure Art Nouveau with whiplash curves. The pairing makes for a very attractive combination. The backs of the faces and the chains are stamped with French 18K marks.

A 14K gold Art Nouveau enameled violet and horseshoe pendant using the Victorian language of flowers to convey the sentiments "good luck" and "I'll always be true." The violet is centered with an old European cut diamond and the horseshoe is studded with seed pearls. The back retains the original pin and a folding, so the piece can be worn as a pin or pendant...

A fine modernist 18K yellow gold ring set with an intricately carved aquamarine in the "forma livre" (free form) style. Haroldo Burle Marx was particularly known for his use of large gemstones, often fashioned by carving or tumbling rather than being faceted, a technique he invented in 1948. The color of this aquamarine is quite nice—almost a Prussian blue. The gold mounting is decorated with the fine florentined engraving often seen on Marx pieces...

A colorful studio piece molded as an abstract, modified circle and enameled in browns and blues. The back bears a secure rollover clasp on one side and a pendant bale on the other. The piece works best, however, as a pin. There are some illegible marks on the back; although the pin does not indicate silver, it does test definitively as silver, but not sterling. It measures 2 inches by 1 ¾ inches. Weight: 11.9 grams

This pin features a dynamic abstract design comprised of an elongated piece of amber set in a similarly shaped silver frame. A silver wire applied to the back surrounds the piece evokes a ‘space-age’ sense of movement. The pin is marked 835 on the back for silver content; the mark is accompanied by an impressed abstract fish, probably for the Fischland workshop of Georg and Walter Kramer. The pin measures 2 ½ inches long by about ¾ inch at its widest part.

A Victorian 10k yellow gold ring featuring genuine blue iolites and natural seed pearls circa 1880s. The iolites are a deep royal blue gem stone in round antique cut. Burmese sapphires were expensive and often difficult to obtain in the late 19thC, so good quality iolites were sometimes used - these stones are original to the ring, not replacements. The flower circle design stayed popular into the Edwardian period, although Edwardian examples were usually simpler with less gem stones...

Beautiful unusual sautoir long necklace with glass based faux baroque pearls and two sided stations, one side with prong set large oval multi color glass stones and the other side with alternating fuschia and colorless strass stones. Also with very ornate chain links. Hook clasp with colorless stones in ruffled "piecrust" settings...

A silver marcasites chariot & goats shell cameo pin brooch from 1900 1920. This unusual and beautiful vintage .800 silver filigree mounted shell cameo brooch has a barrel or trombone clasp, the setting is stamped with two marks that are difficult to make out as well as ITALY 800, and the hand carved shell cameo depicts a winged putto or angel figure in a chariot being pulled by two rearing goats (as they are wont to do...)...

Fabulous vintage chain necklace in heavy goldtone brass with brilliant colorless prong set strasse stones. With a spring ring clasp, and long enough to wear doubled as shown. This piece is French, circa 1960 or 1970. Great to wear alone or with other chain necklaces. Perfectly of the moment: layered chains are a top trend this season.

A very nice pair of Art Deco 14K gold and enamel cufflinks by Carrington. The enamel is worked in a particularly pleasant shade of French blue with opaque white accents. The gold surfaces underneath the translucent enamel had engine-turned engraving in a pattern that suggests moire silk. The edges of the faces are very slightly, gracefully bowed outward. The connectors are hallmarked by Carrington...

A cool gold plated green glass bead bracelet from the 1950s. This 7" long triple strand green formed glass beads bracelet has rigid textured gold plated rod links suspending the glass beads. This 1950s bracelet has a snapover catch, and the rods are curved on the outside strands and straight in the center. The beads have subtle green swirls and they are suspended by wire loops...

The five 10 X 8 millimeter oval faceted amethysts are connected by alternating oval and round 14Kt yellow gold links in this period bracelet. The length of the bracelet is 7 ¼ “.

Fabulous vintage 1960s French necklace and matching clip earrings in wired poured glass with rhinestones and faux pearls, in pink and green, in 18th century style with a girandole drop. The earrings are marked DEPOSE. The glass beads are opaque and translucent. The rhinestones are openbacked. The earrings have French open clips. The metal on the necklace is dark silvertone as well as on the earrings, except for the earring post backs, which are dark goldtone...

Because he is a pearl in the rough, finish his look with a pair of biomorphic abalone blister pearl double sided cufflinks. In the Art Nouveau organic style, the shells are set in sterling silver, circa 1920's, marked STERLING. Size: 1/2" x 1/4". Very good condition. Shell on one side may have chip or may be original. A very attractive gold filled bracelet, the cage-like links enclosing glass spheres intended to mimic green chalcedony. The clasp is hallmarked by Binder Bros. Ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, no wear, all original. Size: 7-5/8" long; 3/4" wide.

These sterling silver, screwback earrings are so cool. They are circa 1950's. They measure 1" x 3/8" x 1/4" deep. They feature a mod shape with a concave, oxidized background, with prong set, cultured pearls. One is marked STERLING J.S.C 925 (see pictures). I am still trying to figure out the silversmith's mark. They are solid and in great condition.
