A very finely cut cameo of a lovely young woman who most likely represents one of the goddesses of Greek or Roman mythology. The carver shows off his skills with the many fine lines and drapings which complement the curled and wavy hair of the lady. An elegant Art Nouveau 14K gold enameled flower pin with a full-blown blossom centering a seed pearl and a half-opened blossom. The petals are decorated in soft shades of ivory, green and rose iridescent translucent enamels. Delicate floral pins of this kind were popular gifts for new brides in the Victorian and Edwardian eras due to the sentimental meanings of various flowers in the Victorian flower language. The back is hallmarked by Whiteside & Blank.
A pretty vintage 14K yellow gold pin by Krementz featuring a spray of beautifully enameled bleeding hearts, each dangling a small seed pearl. The enameling on the blossoms has a matte effect that mimics the waxing texture of the flower in nature, while the leaves are in Krementz's more typical shaded translucent style...

This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. There is a generous wearable length of 17 in. The early hallmarked Los Castillo designs are the best and this is one of those that is seldom found. Properly hallmarked with no damage or repairs...

A very rare Art Nouveau Mardi Gras ball favor jewel in 14K gold depicting Greek goddess. The exposed areas of gold have a soft "bloomed" finish typical of higher quality Art Nouveau jewels that constrasts beautifully with the translucent enamels. Spratling designed this impressive pendant in the 1940's. Measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" the piece is beautifully detailed with 4 beveled cut amethyst stones & a center cab set into thick silver frames. The sterling chain in the style of Spratling measures 20" long. Together the cross and chain weigh 87 grams. The piece is in beautiful vintage condition.
