A vintage Art Deco period sterling silver size 3-1/2 signet ring c1930s. This ring has texturing but no initials on the 7/16" x 5/16" ocval upper / front and it weighs 2.3 grams. A nice vintage 1950s size 7-3/4 ring with a natural emerald stone. This ring measures 3/8" across the top and it weighs 2.0 grams. A huge Continental blue aurora borealis rhinestone brooch and matchingclip on earrings circa 1950s. The 3" across brooch and 1-1/8" x 1/2" earrings are unmarked but are undoubtedly by Continental. A 19th century Dutch red glass necklace with a 14k carnelian clasp. This Victorian era 19th century 36-1/4" hand cut red glass bead necklace is complete with a Dutch hallmarked 14k yellow gold clasp. The beads have a rich red garnet colour and the 1/2" diameter box clasp has a natural carnelian stone with an inset gold flourish at the center...
A very fine pair of Victorian figural cufflinks worked in 14K yellow gold. The front faces are in the shape of ceremonial Scottish halberds. The shafts are set with round and antique cushion cut rubies and the heads are set with rose-cut diamonds. The rubies have nicely saturated color that contrasts well with the glitter of the diamonds. The rubies show no indications of heat treatment and their internal characteristics suggest they are of Burmese origin...
Rectangular, with one side decorated with elaborate raised flower and scrolled leaves. The anchor button shows lengthwise ridges. The marks look to be European, but are as yet unidentified. The cuff links look hardly worn, with secure bridge bars and connecting rings. The larger buttons measure ¾ inch by ½ inch. Weight: 11.2 grams total
Decorated with three curved inset areas of abalone, surrounding an impressed and oxidized pre-Columbian motif. The clip is secure and retains its flexibility; it appears to have been hardly used. The back bears a Mexican circular mark indicating sterling and the maker’s initials of GAV. The clip measures 1 ¾ inches wide by 2 1/8 inches long. Gross weight: 16.8 grams
Composed of cast rectangular double links, this classy bracelet from the 1960s-1970s is sturdy and well made with completely soldered connecting bars. The bracelet has a good heft and a secure, clever clasp with a pressure spring closure. The bracelet is marked for sterling, with a partial mark of ITALY and a double-struck partial sterling mark. The bracelet measures 7 ¾ inches long and a little over ¼ inch wide. Weight: 29.6 grams
Composed of curved openwork panels formed as highly stylized bird heads, possibly eagles, with a pre-Columbian influence. The tongue-and-groove clasp is original and very secure for this substantial bracelet. It is bears the circular mark for Pedro Castillo, who worked for Spratling and Aguilar in the 1930s and started his own taller in the 1940s (per Bille Hougart’s ‘Little Book’ of Mexican silver marks, p. 41)...
A vintage Birks sterling silver hand engraved hinged bangle bracelet c1950s. This 1/2" wide bracelet has engraved decoration on the front half and it measures 2-3/8 x 2-1/4" across the interior. It has a box clasp and a safety chain, and it is stamped STERLING with the Birks B in a hexagon mark and it has a small B.L. monogram on the interior. It weighs 21.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
An Edwardian sterling silver signet ring c1910-20. This size 11-1/2 ring has a Cobalt monogram with flourishes on the 9/16" x 7/16" upper flat area/top (easily polished out and replaced) and it weighs 8.4 grams. This item is stamped STERLING and BMCO (for Breadner Manufacturing Co. of Hull, Quebec, from 1903-1930 - after 1930 became Breadner Co. Ltd.) and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
This Coro enamel trembler lotus flower brooch matches the duettes.
The stamens are mounted on a spring ( en tremblant) so they can be made to quiver. This is definitely one of the most sought after brooches. I have never seen any other anywhere.
