RARE, vintage Georg Jensen Denmark Modernist sterling ring no. 155 designed by Vivianna Torun for Jensen c. 1960. This ring is a size 6 and in fine original condition. It is bold and beautiful, sitting high off the finger, approximately 3/4". The face of the ring is 1" across. Weighing 11 grams, it is signed with the Georg Jensen post 1945 mark, Denmark 925S, Torun 155. Fabulous!

A wonderful, textural, sculptural sterling bracelet designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen, Denmark, circa 1960. The unique texture resembles that of a tree bark. It measures 8" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. Weighing an impressive 105 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. The pin closure is secure and there is also a safety lock. A terrific piece of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry.

An Arts and Crafts period pendant in 830 silver with 8 bezel set round garnets, 2 teardrop shaped garnets and a central pearl. Also has a bezel set pearl in the bottom dangle.

Marked 830 for the silver standard and what looks like conjoined 'AG' or 'GA'. Has a swivel bale.

Pendant measures almost 1 3/4" high with the bale and 1 3/8" at the widest. The silver colored chain measures 23" long and has a spring clasp that closes securely...

Fine work.

Deeply carved so as to represent folds in a fancy bow tie the green agate in this big Mexican Deco brooch has beautiful color variation and is pleasantly "soft" to the touch. The substantial stone is generously backed in silver and held in place with sturdy, hand-wrought prongs. Classically Deco, I also find it rather tongue-in-cheek, an elegant "mockery" of the stiffness of "proper attire". The brooch measures 3" wide by 1 1/2" tall and weighs 33.6 grams...

Vintage, stylish, organic shaped sterling clip earrings with oxidized areas by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. Measuring 1 1/2" by 1 1/4", they weigh 14 grams total and are in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Interesting and unusual.

Sergio is another one of Taxco’s “enigmatic” names. Whether a maestro or a retailer is not known nor is their relationship - if any at all - with the other Sergio whose name is signed in script. Over the years of my buying and selling vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come upon a few examples of their work - and I loved them all. The modernist articulated necklace I am presenting here, very much in the spirit of Sigi Pineda’s designs, is the epitome of minimalism...

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver necklace and bracelet by noted Arts and Crafts metalsmith, Clemens Friedell. Made of oval links with raised roses.

The bracelet is composed of three links. It is marked Clemens Friedell Pasadena Sterling on the back side of the hook clasp. It measures 7" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Better for a smaller wrist. The hook clasp holds securely. There is a hammer rub or scrape on the outside of the hook.

One of my favorite insect designs in the world of vintage Mexican silver jewelry, this “machine age” dragonfly is known as a Los Castillo creation yet here it is signed by a “less celebrated” Taxco maestro. What first attracted me to this creature is its “industrial”, perforated wings that make the dragonfly look more delicate but awe-inspiring at the same time. The top design measures 3/4" across, 3/4" wide and about 1/2" high. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustable due to the open shank design.

In very nice condition with minor tarnish and some minor surface scratches. Thick sterling.

Ca 1960 Here is a wonderful 3-dimensional bracelet reminiscent of Jensen USA pieces. Marked Jewel Art Sterling, it measures 6-1/2" x 3/4 and retains its original patina.

An eye catching, substantial gold plate bracelet marked SAL. A thick chain attaches each section and there is light wear (spotting) on the back of the bracelet.The bracelet does not lie perfectly flat and measures 7" x 1/2".

A beautiful vintage crystal necklace with a silver plate filigree clasp. The crystals are graduated while the center features a faceted crystal ball. The spacers are also crystal and the necklace is strung on thin wire. 30"

The necklace is not marked, but the clasp is marked 925 for sterling and also has a tiny mark, maybe a stylized 'S' that we can't identify.

Central pendant measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/4" high including the dangle. Necklace measures 17 1/2" long. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.
