Vintage pearl and sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet measures 6 1/4" long X 5/8" wide. Hallmarked with Antonio crown, Taxco, 970 and eagle. The design features 11 pearls each set within a round oxidized silver cup. Each cup framed by a thick silver square. Large Gusanos (caterpiller)Mexican solid gold earrings at 2inches by half an inch wide make for a grand presence. The weight is 7.3 grams of gold that tests from around 9kt to 12kt. These older filigree pieces are not signed and originate from Oaxaca. Absolutely lovely 2 rows of seed pearls are wired and tied off on the back and some solder over the ends finishes the durability of the piece. The seed pearls look more silver than the monitor shows them to be.

Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall.
