Big, with pronounced repoussage, a series of beautiful turquoise cabs crowning the crest of the creature's shell, this vintage Mexican Deco figural brooch was most probably made in the country's capital as its workmanship indicates. This type of "high relief", textured repousse jewelry is reminiscent of Matilde Poulat's techniques and closely associated with Mexico City maestros...

Here is a pair of 10kt yellow gold cuff links sporting an ivy motif – a favorite of ours! Ivy is symbolic of marriage and friendship. The decorated ends measure ¾” x ½”, and the total weight is 3.2g. Unmarked, they test at 10k, and we believe them to be from the Art Nouveau period. In excellent condition, and really sweet. The photos are part of the description so please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away. Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here is a very pretty lavalier or pendant, with enamel on both sides - which is unusual for Arts & Crafts pieces. The front has a central panel in a beautiful peacock blue, and 2 outer panels in the shape of stylized hearts, in a darker blue. The back is sky-blue (somewhat worn at a few of the high points). There is a freshwater pearl drop. It weighs 2.1g and measures 1-5/8” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pearl...

Here is a pair of simple yet very pretty earrings, which can be worn with just about anything. The citrines are set in 14k gold and measure about 6mm or 1/8” in diameter. The earrings weigh 1.1g. They are stamped 14k, and have a stylized maker’s mark which could be “MP”; they are also stamped “CZ” for some reason. We have tested the stones and they are definitely citrines. Citrines are the birthstone for November, along with topaz...

Here is a sweet brooch or pin in the shape of a bow, made from blue and turquoise plique a jour with twisted wire work running through it. Here is a lovely pendant/pin with a stylized floral motif using enamel which shades from green-to-yellow in a design reminiscent of a French fleur-de-lis. It is centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and has a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” In 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down nicely when it’s worn as a brooch...

Here is a beautiful pin which is an interesting mixture of the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects, especially these green beetles, in jewelry. The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t use the insect itself – yet the design of the pin is very Nouveau. Marked 14k, the pale gold setting contrasts nicely with the deep green of the beetle. The pin stem assembly is original...

We have a signed, early Fred Davis bracelet today to offer. The amethyst stones are a mix of milky swirl to a dark purple. When you look into them it appears to be a whole other world inside them. They are without chips or cracks. I could not do justice to them in my photos and there is reflection on their surfaces. They are a fancy barrel cut and the all silver links area cut in a half cylinder shape. There are no dents or damage. A little over 1 inch tall in height and a weight of 70 grams...

Brought to Europe by the Crusaders from St. John’s Island (Zabargard), peridot is the August birthstone, and is considered to be a stone of healing and protection.
