A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with two orbs surrounded by multiple ribbons by Elis Kauppi's studio Kupittaan Kulta Oy, Turku Finland. A sleek Mid Century Modern design.

Measures about a size 7.5 but may be able to be resized without affecting the hallmarks because they are on the side.

In very nice condition with minor tarnish, tiny nicks along the edge of the band and some minor surface scratches.

Marked with the Anvil, Finland and 925S...

A very cool vintage modernist silver plated (probably) pendant by Erik Dennung circa 1970s. Pendant drops 4 1/2" and is 1 5/8" across. Marked Erik Dennung Made in Denmark. Also has the mark for B+D. In good condition, has some minor surface scratches and tarnish to the plating. Would look great on a neck ring. (We have those also if you need one.) Has a large bale so can accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Impressive piece.

This great brooch / pin / pendant has a diameter of 1 1/2". It is slightly convex. The turquoise stone is inlaid (not enamel), very nicely. The back is marked TAXCO 925 STERLING (blurry) in a circle with very blurry initials of silversmith in the middle. The eagle assay mark is number 3, very lightly stamped.

Two vintage modernist sterling silver pieces by Erik Granit, an early geometric brooch and/or a pendant with a central crystal. Made in Finland.

The geometric brooch is marked with the conjoined EG logo, Crown, and 813H for the silver content. The hallmarks are small and on top of the 'C' clasp. It measures 1 1/2" in diameter. It is not flat, it slopes up towards the center like a mini volcano. The clasp holds securely...

I love the Los Ballesteros family of massive, “dimpled dot” hinged bracelets and I am constantly on the look out for great examples. Sterling silver pendant with a large rock crystal, by Finnish designer Salovaara. Designer’s mark for Salovaara: an ice bear, 925, A for the city of Abo (Finnish: Turku) where Salovaara had his workshop and U7 = year mark for 1972. The back of the loop with the mark for import to Sweden (three crowns in an oval an S). To the underside there is an engraved date, probably for the time of presentation to a former owner...

A large sterling silver brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a dark green elongated stone. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked on the back Ledesma, Mexico, Taxco, 925, BB, Eagle #3 and design number 289. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a hairline on the side which doesn't go all the way through. The stone is stable. There is a variation to the texture of the surface in one small area. Probably original to the stone...

Incredible original hand made ANGEL pendant by Joseph Gourdji, NYC, c.1970's consisting of copper, paste or rhinestones, and enamel. The design is an enamel face with blonde hair surrounded by paste/rhinestones angel wings all on copper base with a ring at the back for a chain. This pendant shows exquisite hand work by this very talented NYC designer who works in all metals and materials in a completely creative and original way...

A handsome pair of cufflinks and three matching shirt studs in 18K yellow gold set with blue sapphires. The faces are fashioned as knots, the individual gold “threads” textured in a rope-twist motif for added interest. Each knot is centered with a brilliant round-cut blue sapphire. The sapphires have nice color saturation, and the gold is quite heavy. Each cufflink is marked “18K”...

A nice pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces in the traditional baton style, but with a twist—literally! The toggle backs are marked “14K”.

A very handsome pair of De Grisogono double-sided cufflinks, the faces made from polished seashells mounted in 18K yellow gold in the style of Seaman Schepps and Trianon. The spiral shells have attractive cinnamon, cream and black markings. The gold mountings are marked "18K" and also have a serial number and a maker's mark.

Established in 1993, de Grisogono quickly took the jewelry world by storm and its pieces are now coveted along those from the most luxurious jewelry makers in the world...

Hinged bangle bracelets whether gem- or hard stone-studded, wrought in shadow-box or simply crafted in bold, massive silver are among my favorite designs by the Los Ballesteros workshop. The modernist, generously wide version at hand with its impressed “nested ellipses” and its bezel-set green jaspers is a first one for me...

Post modern hand made sterling and garnet ring, c.1970's. Design is a contrast between gold washed silver & sterling, textures, and has an almondine garnet. Large scale, it measures 1 3/4" long by 3/4" wide. Ring is size 7 and band is 5/16" wide. Signed, "925" and is in excellent condition.
