A pair of vintage sterling silver heart shaped earrings by Peggy Ackerly, (1921-2011), who apprenticed with Sam Kramer from 1943-64. Ackerly helped design and execute many of Kramer's most iconic pieces. These earrings are post 1968, when she began using the conjoined MA mark for Margaret Ackerly.

The heart shaped pieces swing on the curled vines that are attached to the ear wires. The earrings measure 7/8" across and 1" tall. Marked with her hallmark and sterling on the back of each one...

A variation of Antonio's amethyst cluster necklaces that doesn't come up often, this modernist dream is wrought in Pineda's signature fine, .970 alloy and adorned with richly colored stones. The renowned Taxco designer plays with a-symmetry here as the necklace's focal point, the stylized amethyst floral cascade, reaches out from the back of the neck and unfolds itself on its right side instead of occupying the center front...

Beautiful and very wearable Crescent design necklace and bracelet set by Hector Aguilar. The necklace is 17 3/4 inches long with links measuring one inch wide. The hook clasp is perfectly integrated into the necklace and is invisible when worn. The hallmark dates from 1948 - 1955. Both pieces are 940 silver, more pure than the standard for sterling. The bracelet is 8 1/4 inches long. The hallmark, while slightly different than that of the bracelet, dates to the same period...

Like highly stylized waterlily flowers the links forming this N. E. From sterling silver necklace have developed a beautiful patina over the years that accentuates the glistening raised surfaces and deepens the darkened recesses of the design. The specific design can be found with various stone cabochons as well - I sold a bracelet with lavender quartz some time ago - but I do love the slicker, extreme abstraction of the all silver approach at hand...

The dangle is set with a blister pearl of a mellow off-white color. There are 3 tiny seed pearls in the main setting. It is hallmarked “9ct”, and the attached chain is marked “375 9k.” The pendant measures 1-5/16" x 7/8", and the total length of the chain with the pendant is 16-3/4"...
