This striking jewel tests as a very strong 14kt, so it’s probably 15kt, and from England. It is set with what we are pretty sure is an iolite (hard to test because of the setting), and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling snake-like decorated gold ropes and leaves, with two dangling gold chains. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g. With the chains, the whole piece measures 2-1/2” long...

A brutalist, hand wrought, modernist sterling silver pendant in a design resembling a boulder.

Measures about 2 3/4" long including the bale and 3/4" at the widest. Large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Can be worn with the hook from the bale facing the front or back.

Has some scuffs and a little tarnish. Adds to the brutalist nature of the piece so not sure if some of it is original.

Fine quality, heavy, solid piece.

This stunning necklace is a rarely seen Antonio Pineda book-piece design, shown in Silver Seduction p.110. Collector quality. It's a show-stopper, with a serpentine dangle measuring 3 3/4" long composed of alternating turquoise and carnelian cabochons. The stones are gorgeous and perfectly matched in color...

Circa 1942-1944, here is a set of 4 sterling silver buttons from Hubert Harmon. One rarely comes across the work of Hubert Harmon. Known for his surrealist, whimsical designs, Harmon only produced for a very short period of time, and these buttons are hallmarked with his earliest mark of an elaborate HH, Hubertus, and Sterling Taxco Mexico. Highly detailed and exquisitely hand-crafted. Each foot measures 1 3/16" x 1/2". In excellent vintage condition.

Antique, Victorian Era, fine mesh chain sautoir with seashell design slider and two tassels. Along the length of the chain are little star adornments. Necklace is 28" long while doubled with a hook on the end for a watch or fob. The only mark I could find was something that looks like an asterisk. The necklace is in very good antique condition although could use a good cleaning. It was acid tested on various parts and came up 14k. Weight is 22.32 grams.

This fascinating locket depicts a saint, probably St. Peter, holding a key (to the church? To heaven?), with a dove in the background. On the other side is a photograph of an ecclesiastical-looking person. It contains a touched relic (a bit of ribbon which has been touched to a saint’s bone or something worn by a saint), a tiny metal medal with Mary on one side, saying "Mary conceived without sin” and more Christian imagery on the other, and a wisp of cotton...

Hector Aguilar is known for his collection worn by Georgia O'keeffe. This one is iconic as the matching bracelet to her belt that we see her wearing in photographs. A well fitting treasure with 7in. in length with more that can be let out if needed and shortened as needed. There is a height of 1.75in. The material is a fabric backed suede. I am at a loss of words for this design. I think all I can say is it is my favorite bracelet in the entire Mexican Silver Renaissance...

Here is a gorgeous necklace featuring 13 madeira citrines (birthstone for November; they are said to bring optimism and joy into life) – 3 clusters of 3 each, and 4 set singly. The central cluster has a pearl dangle. The rich rose gold is marked 9ct on the clasp, but it tests as a weak 10k. No other marks. Wearable length is 18-3/4”. In excellent condition. The clasp is a little fussy, but could easily be replaced; we don’t want to do that, since it’s original to the piece...

Here is one of our favorite lockets! The front has a beautiful Egyptian woman or girl – or perhaps goddess - in profile, wearing a headdress (from which a few locks of hair have escaped), and hoop earrings. She is nestled within a crescent moon (symbolic of the female principal, intuition, and new beginnings). The back has a monogram, and inside it has both photo rings, but no celluloid. That can easily be fixed with plastic...

This elegant sterling silver fancy-link chain comes from the era of the Titanic, but could be as late as the Art Deco period (Downton Abbey! The Great Gatsby!). It is interesting enough to be worn on its own, or you could hang a pendant or watch from it. The clasp is stamped “Sterling”. It measures 26”, and the links are 1/4” or 4mm wide at the widest point. It weighs 5.6g, and is in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Sh...
